Now, I'm trying to figure out if this is good or bad. I know that in and of itself, it's very bad for Kerry, he should be winning HI hands down. But why is W going for it? Does he need every electoral vote he can get (meaning he's doing bad), or does he want to go for a landslide (meaning his internal polling is very good)?
Gore is not a good man!
This is a little over the edge, but California may supprise everyone too. I have lived here all my life and have NNEVER seen the Republicans so geared up.
EVERY Kerry sign along the roads and around the towns, have a BUSH sign next to it. And when the Dems take down the Bush signs, another pops up in its place within a few minutes.
The DEMS are being cow-towed, and they are hiding, if you coompare it to how they have acted in past years.
The November supprise may be California for Bush!
Gore? Shouldn't the Silky Pony be sent out there instead? I guess the Kerry team has lost confidence in him.

Wow -- To send Cheney all the way to Hawaii tells me that the numbers in the midwest must really be firming up solid for "W", otherwise Cheney would be hanging out in Iowa, MI, WIS, PA, OH, et al.

It's almost like the Kerry campaign is *trying* to lose this election. Never have I seen somebody making so many mistakes.

Cheney's a pretty big gun to send. It must truly be in play. Thank you to the GOP governor. Those 4 EVs can matter a great deal in many scenarios.

I got two calls today saying Vice President Cheney was going to be in Romulus, Michigan Sunday morning. Romulus is where Detroit Metropolitan Airport is located. I can imagine him hopping on Air force 2(?) for a flight to Hawaii. He'd be there in 9 hours maybe?
