Yes, there is hatred of Bush, but the real untold story is the

GREAT LOVE AND RESPRECT FOR BUSH.

look at the crowds that come to hear him speak, and look at the handfuls that come to hear Kerry.

BUSH IS THE MAN THE PEOPLE LOVE.

forget any other indicator, this alone is enough to believe that Bush will win in a landslide

If Gore goes anywhere near a beach, he'll be jumped upon by animal lovers trying to roll him back into the ocean!

Do you think Kerry loaned Al his spandex outfit to windsurf for votes? Calling Rolling Stone!

Thank you all so very much for this thread.

I'm sitting down here, hoping and praying for Dubya's victory - I don't even get a vote!

You folks have renewed my enthusiasm for Tuesday's contest (well, calmed my nerves, anyway).

You guys aren't thinking very politically..

Rove sent Cheney to Hawaii -- with almost no electoral votes and gore won by 20 points -- to GET HIM AWAY FROM MSM on the mainland..

so he doesn't have to answer questions about Halliburton all weekend...

why else burn a day for flying back and forth... I know the polls show him close but what's better 20 electoral votes in Ohio or 4 in Hawaii

How many electoral votes would Kerry get for carrying France?

Sorry. The only ones that find Halliburton at all interesting are trolls like you.

I'm not sure I like this newbie's tone, either.

He should go to the Big Island and offer himself to Pele. Not that Pele would accept the offer. Probably spit him back along with some lava.

Go Cheney!!!! It would be awesome to see Bush win Hawaii!!

I think I heard yesterday that Hawaii has only voted for a republican about 2 times since gaining statehood. A Cheney visit may very well clinch the state (a poll taken there by a very respected newspaper had Bush with a slight edge over Kerry).

If the dims really do send Gore (I didn't see that in the article, btw) then that will help too. Hawaii is laid back, and Gore's style (frothing at the mouth) will NOT help Kerry.

Just my humble opinion, of course.

If Hawaii is in play it's because of the threat of terrorism. There are also a lot of military and vets out there. Cheney is the ideal guy to send there.

I'm sorry but I believe that Maryland and Louisiana would disagree about your statement of the only states to suffer a foreign attack. Little thing called the War of 1812.

Seem to recall the British burning down DC and Baltimore.

I sit corrected, technically...my statement had more to do with an unexpected sneak attack like Pearl Harbor.
