I haven't read this massive thread all the way through, but how much did Fox show? More than the 25 seconds or so that ABC ran? (Can't pull Fox in on my rabbit ears.)
By the way, don't give ABC News any credit -- I'm sure they got it on in a hurry cuz other "news" outlets were gonna scoop them.
I don't think he is an american. I know that's what they say but he annunciates the last letters of his words too clearly. He sounds like someone who might have been educated here but American English is not his first language.
I also don't think this will hurt Bush. I think it could help him. He talks about AlQ and the taliban not Iraq (at least the parts I've heard). It reminds people about the real need to secure this nation and that the threat doesn't respond to "diplomacy." I would like to think we are more like the Australians than the Spanish.

A complicated one because ABC picked this video up in Afghanistan, guys it may look cheesy but it is a threat to us nevertheless and needs to be taken seriously, remember this guy probably lived in the US and he knows the popular culture and probably knows or has a pretty good idea of initial reactions to it. There no standard for terrorist warning videos, they may come in many forms.
I want to see the entire tape! Why don't they ever release the entire tape... at least on the web so we can see what these bastards are saying.
I saw the tape and man doesn't look gay. He does seem to be overacting a bit. Definitely has to be a former american citizen.
You know some college kids that could hookup an As-Sahab logo (do you even know what that is?), Arabic subtitles, and Al Qaeda rhetoric so well that the ISI could vet it, and then manage to get the tape transported to Pakistan?
Are you aware of how the tape was obtained by ABC?
Some discussions here were that by not showing or revealing they had the tape Bush would be crushed in the election if we were attacked again.
