"Don't Surrender!!"
(To be sung to Bruce Springsteen's "No Surrender")

Yeah, Dem Lib'rals got no class...RATS' tyranny's built fer fools...
We learn more from the FReepublic Forum, Nation, then we ever learned in school!!
We'll fight Left's fear...our neighborhoods're standin' proud...

We shan't git tired...our goal must be EXPOSE Left's LIES!!
So git up and FReep now...

Dutch Reagan's promise lives on in all who remember...
Yer Effete, Kerry, you'll surrender!!
We're soldiers in a Righteous fight...it's our Peace we'll defend...
RATS retreat, Kerry, you'll surrender!!

DemRAT faces are mad and cold...
Left's schemes are weak and olde...
We abhor Big Guv'ment and Medyuh Spin...
And Right's ready to stand tall again!!
We hear the Lib'rals voices cheerin' fer John...
DemRATS, they ain't too smart!!
Well maybe we could give Libs a place of their own...
Send Dem Lib-uh-rulls to Mars!!

Folks, George Dubyuh's promise since that sad day in September...
"No retreat...Dubyuh won't surrender!!"
George Dubyuh, he will do what's Right...our Country he'll defend!!
Don't retreat, Nation, don't surrender!!

Folks, hit the streets to fight fer Right...we'll win!!
We're armed with the TRUTH 'gainst Lib'ral spin...
Culture War's the fight we're wagin'...
RATS say the fault's ours fer the war we're winnin'...
I wanna FReep Elites...Peacenik's LIE...damn the Lib'rals' dread!!
Fer our wide open country we shall fight...we got heroic dreams in our head!!

Folks, George Dubyuh's promise since that sad day in September...

Hussein's BOMBED......

The 4th Infantry undertook Operation Red Dawn to find Saddam.
They are based in Texas - Fort Hood.

They got their man - captured Saddam. "Don't mess with Texas!":

Slick Willie's Gone......

Now we need to see him cuffed!

Two of my favorite pictures...have you seen recent photos of Saddam? He looks quite fit in his latest courtroom photos, and I hear he's in ever better shape and spirits now. I want him fit as a fiddle when the Iraqis put him to death for his crimes against humanity!!

"Projecting forwards, FR should have at least 150,000 by Election 2004, maybe closer to 175,000, or more as growth tends to be non-linear."

I've got a fund-raiser suggestion...the FReeperIntern Program!! I say monthly donors deserve more FReeper Rights than Lurkers and FReepLoaders, so each $10/monther gets to Intern a new FReeper each month ($5/monthers git one every two months). It could be yer spouse, yer crazy Lib'ral Uncle, or El Rushbo hisself, but you gotta know the person in Real-Life and their email address, but then you are sorta responsible fer helpin' that fledgling FReeper along fer a month while they are on FReeper probation...LOL!! When you select yer FReeperInternCandidate, you will be able to download a SpecialFReeperInternCertificate that you can frame and give to yer new FRiend as a cherished gift...then introduce them around. Like I said, only MonthlyDonors are allowed this new privilege, and if you keep bringin' in deadbeats, we'll revoke yer InternPrivileges...LOL!!

There's more to this than I have time to git into, but I figger we can add 12 new FReepers fer every $10/monther and 6 new FReepers fer every $5/monther, annually, and so on...and so on...and so on....MUD (03/16/2004)

I'm not particularly in favor of public executions, but in Soddom's case, I might entertain an exception...MUD

Wow. I was thinking that just yesterday or day before.

I recall that Texas executions are closed except to a very limited
number of the perp's and victims family members and a few reporters,
etc.

But I decided that Saddam's could possibly be a public event.

666...well, we had to show off Soddom's kids' dead bodies just to prove to the Iraqi people that those two thugs had been off'd so this may not be much different. I'm sure the Iraqi people are gonna wanna know fer sure that's he's dead and gone, so some sort of public execution will most likely be necessary so as to prove that this horrifying chapter in Iraqi history is closed.

"Anatomy of a FReeper!!"

"Freepers are people who post to a rather interesting bulletin board service called Free Republic. A lot of my blogging friends know about them, but surprisingly enough, not very many of them view them as a news source they visit frequently. I think the Freepers are an essential element in gathering news. If you go in with the right mindset, and know what you are looking for, it can be a goldmine of information. Hugh Hewitt has often called freepers the Coast Watchers of the new media. When news happens, either in print, on radio, or on television, someone will post a link, and much of the meat of the story, as the beginning of a thread. Within minutes, if the story is juicy enough, just like flies, freepers all over will descend on the story and give their two cents worth."

The thing I think many outsiders miss about FReepers is our tendency to get together and agitate in favor of our beliefs away from the blogosphere. To me, that is a huge element in the Power of FReepin'!!

Thanks...I visit LibertyPost.org and while I enjoy many of the diverse viewpoints over there, I've noticed a reluctance of folks to get out from behind their keyboards and join their fellow posters in the real world...and it makes me feel like those folks ain't really willing to put their money where their mouths are. Personally, I've met 4-5 LPosters (Cal, Fred Mertz, & xyz123, off the top of my head) and they are good folks, but I met them as FReepers, never as LPosters.

Fer this and many other reasons, I believe FReepers ROCK...MUD

Jimi Hendrix' "Red House"

There’s a Red House over yonder
That’s where my baby stays
There’s a Red House over yonder, baby
That’s where my baby stays

Well, I ain’t been home to see my baby,
in ninety nine and one half days.
'Bout time I see her,
Wait a minute something’s wrong here
The key won’t unlock the door.

Wait a minute something’s wrong baby,
Lord, have mercy, this key won’t unlock this door,
something’s goin’ on here.
I have a bad bad feeling
that my baby don’t live here no more.

That’s all right, I still got my guitar
Look out now . . .

I might as well go on back down
go back 'cross yonder over the hill
I might as well go back over yonder
way back over yonder 'cross the hill,
(That’s where I came from.)

‘Cause if my baby don’t love me no more,
I know her sister will

The Year is 1904

Maybe this will boggle your mind, The year is 1904 . One hundred years ago. What a difference a century makes! Here are some of the US statistics for 1904:

The average life expectancy in the US was 47 years.

Only 14% of the homes in the US had a bathtub.

Only 8% of the homes had a telephone.

A three-minute call from Denver to New York City cost $11.00

There were only 8,000 cars in the US, and only 144 miles of paved roads.

The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph.

Alabama, Mississippi, Iowa, and Tennessee were each more heavily populated than California. With a mere 1.4 million residents, California was only the 21st most populous state in the Union.

The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower.

The average wage in the US was 22 cents an hour.

The average US worker made between $200 and $400 per year.

A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year, a dentist $2,500 per year.

A veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 per year.

A mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year.

More than 95 percent of all births in the US took place at home.

Ninety percent of all US physicians had no college education. Instead, they attended medical schools, many of which were condemned in the press and by the government as "substandard."

Sugar cost four cents a pound. Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen. Coffee was fifteen cents a pound.

Most women only washed their hair once a month, and used borax or egg yolks for shampoo.

Canada passed a law prohibiting poor people from entering the country for any reason.

The five leading causes of death in the US were:

1. Pneumonia and influenza
2. Tuberculosis
3. Diarrhea
4. Heart disease
5. Stroke

The population of Las Vegas, Nevada, was 30!

Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and iced tea hadn't been invented.

There was no Mother's Day or Father's Day.

Two of 10 US adults couldn't read or write. Only 6% of all Americans had graduated high school.

Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter at corner drugstores. According to one pharmacist, "Heroin clears the complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health." (Shocking!)

Eighteen percent of households in the US had at least one full-time servant or domestic.

There were only about 230 reported murders in the entire US.

And I forwarded this from someone else without typing it myself, and sent it to you in a matter of seconds! Try to imagine what it may be like in another 100 years ... it staggers the mind.
