. . . . . .
Item 3. Former President Bill Clinton, according to a UPI report, has set his sights on becoming United Nations Secretary-General. A Clinton insider and a senior UN source have told United Press International that Clinton would like to be named leader of the world body when Kofi Annans term ends in 2006. Word is that UN leaders would flock to enthusiastically elect him. The only thing standing in his way to being head of the world is the reelection of George W. Bush, who would surely move to block Clintons nomination.
That creates a massive dilemma for conservatives. If Bush is elected, Clintons bid for the UN leadership can be stopped in 2006. However, if John Kerry is elected, that would effectively remove any chance of Hillary being elected President in 2008. The Clintons have successfully put the nation in a vice. The Clintons are coming at us from two sides. Which one do we choose? . . . . .

Let Bill have the UN - then leave the organization and kick them out of the U.S.
This is the key one. With 4 supreme court justices possibly needing replacement let's win this one first and then go after Hillary.
I thought that citizens from the 5 Permanent Members of the Security Council were prohibited from being Secretary General. Am I wrong?
Could he really be any worse than Annan? For that matter, could a head of cabbage be any worse?
> Word is that UN leaders would flock to enthusiastically elect him.
And would evidently be willing to overlook the UN charter,
which disqualifies SecGen candidates who are citizens of
Security Council countries.
What these clowns are likely "enthusiastic" about is all
the graft they'll demand to vote for a charter change.
The problem is easily solved, tho, just have the US
resign entirely from the UN.
"The Clintons have successfully put the nation in a vice."
Yeah, right.
BTW, don't use an apostrophe unless the noun is a possessive.
HTH.
Here's the excerpt that stood out:
"...Clinton would like to be named leader of the world..."
That sure is the truth. We were worried that if algore was elected he would be able to appoint three SCJ. Now 4 years later and not a single one has retired.
With the way the dems play hardball I doubt if the President will have any luck getting his nominees on the bench anyway. This is very important. We cannot understate the importance.
A potential for Clinton to run the U.N. and another Clinton to run the country would be a scary, scary scenario!
Well I wouldn't put it passed Bill to renounce his U.S. citizenship ...he's already sucked all he can out of this country anyway
