This can't be REAL good for sKerry!?
Hello, liberals and the MSM...have you read this yet? Certainly can't tell be watching CNN (Communist News Network).
Not to be found on page 1 of the New York Times, of course.
All the explosives story did is to validate what the Bush administration has been saying for two years. If Cheney had come out on Monday claiming that 380 tons of nuclear triggers tracked by the IAEA had been hidden just before the war, the Democrats would have said "more WMD lies." But the fools on the left did the Republicans' work for them!
I wish I would hear more aggressive responses to this Democrat garbage. I've felt all along that the Bush admin could do more to get their message out. But then again, they can't spend all their time answering ridiculous charges. Letting Kerry hang himself seems to be working fine.
hope this burys the lying sack of shiiiit for goood!!
This will go down in the history of presidential campaigns as one of the great, unintended carom shots of all time.
If memory serves, it was Gertz who first reported that Iraq was crawling with Russian operatives even on the eve of our attack and that Bush told Putin to butt out.
This is the sentence that people are missing..............Gertz does NOT just throw comments like that around.
Yeah watch today...believe me the Bush campaign is not letting things just go by....they are smart, they wait and will strike when it's right...and will prevail. They don't go off half cocked like Kerry, they will get the facts, get their ducks in order and respond. Like the class act they are.
OK, I am going crazy over this story. When I turned on a local AM station here in Baton Rouge, they were all over the story saying it was "the story of the campaign". I get to work to look on the internet and there is little to no mention of it. Not even on Fox!!!! What is the deal????? This one should be spreading like wild fire. I have only heard about Fox and Friends and Pat Buchanan on Scarborough last night. It seems that this story is either not true, or a complete dud. I guess we will know in a couple of hours if Rush runs with it.
In the real world this should blow that POS Kerry out of the water, but the undecided voters are too stupid to grasp this and most dims don't care about facts or truth. Kerry has repeated his lies often enough to make it true to the idiots, all with the blessing of the MSM. Time is now short, and certainly any response by Pres. Bush will be drowned out by more lies to change the subject. So it's come down to this....GET OUT THE VOTE !!!
Bump.
Unless Bush or Putin make something of it, it's buried already.
Condi Rice was just on Laura Ingraham....she stated that there is no evidence that Russia removed weapons from Iraq. Laura noted that Condi is a Russian expert, and that it would be huge if there were such evidence. Condi agreed that such evidence would cause some difficulties in our relations with Russia.
I'm hoping that she is just playing it close for the diplomatic strategy at the moment and that Gertz is correct.
bump
As I said last night in posts to various threads about this subject... don't get too excited yet. Until the Russians or the Syrians will admit to this it is a non starter.
Neither of those two countries will likely admit to it because of the consequences to their positions. This is all too deep for the average American to understand.
Patience and hope is all we can do for now.
this story is dead. see the other thread on this with the Russians statement. unless we expect the US to "out" the Russians in some hugely embarassing saga - and pin it on them publicly, you can forget about this story.
He has threatened to create an Iran-Contra II scandal because he got caught.
He's done someother things to undermine what we're doing over there... we will see what he comes up with next.
