Armed Group Claims to Have Iraq Explosives "BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- An armed group claimed in a video Thursday to have obtained a large amount of explosives missing from a munitions depot facility in Iraq and threatened to use them against foreign troops. A group calling itself Al-Islam's Army Brigades, Al-Karar Brigade, said it had coordinated with officers and soldiers of "the American intelligence" to obtain a "huge amount of the explosives that were in the al-Qaqaa facility." The claim couldn't be independently verified. The speaker was surrounded by masked, armed men standing in front of a black banner with the group's name on it in the tape obtained by Associated Press Television News. "We promise God and the Iraqi people that we will use it against the occupation forces and those who cooperate with them in the event of these forces threatening any Iraqi city," the man added.
Nearly 400 tons of conventional explosives have disappeared from the al-Qaqaa facility south of Baghdad, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency..." |

No doubt kerry will be quoting these upstanding Iraqi citizens, er terrorists, all day on his campaign.
It is almost as if a script has been written and someone somewhere is directing the "players"..........where has Hillary been, anyway?
Oh I sure hope Kerry has a shred of decency left somewhere and doesn't do that.
What are you smoking? Kerry with a shred of decency?
Wow, good point. Scary thought, but good point. :)
LOL! One can hope still can't one?
President Bush was not born yet and that was all his fault. :-)
Administration spokesmen were seen trying to suppress an overwhelming compulsion to giggle.
Apparently this group of animals doesn't consider Falluja an Iraqi city. Giggle.
I'm gonna go out on a limb, hoping I don't get deleted by admin, and say
BULLSHIT!
1) Being discussed on Rush Limbaugh NOW.
2) Unbelieveble coordination between the American Media, Democrat Party, and radical islamist terrorists.
So, let me get this straight.....AP gets a Terrorist statement unverified, obviously seeking to capitalise on the American News Cycle, and that is Fit for consumption, But ABC's Video is not???????
The Islamic Army in Iraq has been implicated in several other kidnappings and claimed responsibility for the killing of Enzo Baldoni, an Italian journalist, after Italy rejected a demand to withdraw its 3,000 soldiers from Iraq.
The al-Mansurah cell of the Islamic Army in Iraq abducted the Frenchmen in Latifiyah, just outside the town of Mahmudiyah, where they were kept for the first few days.
They were then handed to a sister cell, known as the al-Karar battalion, at another town in the so-called Sunni triangle west of Baghdad. The Islamic Army in Iraq broke away from the Army of Ansar al-Sunnah, which last week killed 12 Nepalese hostages.

Monday s breakthrough was evidence of such determination.
The Interior Ministry said plans for major terror attacks on key installations in the Kingdom were foiled with the arrest of the 16 Al-Qaeda operatives.
Over 20 metric tons of chemical substances used for manufacturing explosives, some in bags hidden in underground stores, were seized.
Large numbers of boxes containing ammunition and various types of shells, in addition to 72 kilograms (158 pounds) of highly explosive RDX, were found.
Also seized were: five RPG anti-tank and anti-personnel launchers and 18 rockets, 524 detonators, 981 meters (2,940 feet) of match cord, several automatic rifles, ammunition, Bullet-proof vests, binoculars, communication devices, monitoring cameras, computers, fake passports and identity cards, motorbikes and vehicles readied for use in terrorist attacks, the Interior Ministry said.
The weapons have been smuggled into the Kingdom, possibly from Iraq or Yemen, Prince Naif Ibn Abdul Aziz said, denying that the suspects had stolen weapons and vehicles from military stores.
The arms were seized from farms and public rest houses around the country, indicating a link between all the militants. Definitely there is a connection among all of them.
