(CPOD) Oct. 28, 2004 – The state of New Jersey has no clear frontrunner in the 2004 United States presidential race, according to a poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. 46 per cent of respondents would vote for Republican incumbent George W. Bush, while 46 per cent would support Democratic nominee John Kerry.

Two per cent of respondents would vote for independent candidate Ralph Nader, and six per cent are undecided. The election is scheduled for Nov. 2.

Support for Kerry dropped by three per cent in a week, while backing for Bush increased by one per cent. In early October, the Democrat held a three per cent advantage over the Republican.

Democrat Al Gore carried the state’s 15 electoral votes in 2000, with 56 per cent of the vote. No Republican has won New Jersey since George H. Bush in 1988.

If he wins NJ (and I think that's very possible) - set your tivo or vcr to record dan rather for the rest of the night. Because that would mean it's going to be a very good night.

This might be a case of the closer the election comes, the more people go for what they know and trust. From the poll.

Asked who would do a better job on these issues, New Jersey voters say:
53 - 37 percent that Bush would do a better job on terrorism;
49 - 42 percent that Kerry would do a better job on the economy;
48 - 42 percent that Bush would do a better job on Iraq;
51 - 38 percent that Kerry would do a better job on health care.

"Many New Jersey voters face security checks as they commute to New York or Philadelphia each day. They remember 700 Garden State neighbors lost on September 11 and see the wounded skyline where the World Trade Center stood. Here, more than in any other battleground state surveyed by Quinnipiac University, terrorism emerges as the top campaign issue," Carroll said.

The polls showing Bush pulling even must be making the Dims crazy (snicker).

The polling---and a Bush win---reflects voters' smackdown of the gay governor and the corrupt politics he has brought to that state.

Moreso, the close race reflects the antics of Golan (gag) Cipel, and gay NJ Gov McGreevey's most notorious act ---employing his sex partner in a $110,000 state job to head state security. Cipel, (an Israeli national) was forced out when it was revealed his qualifications had been exaggerated, and later said McGreevey harrassed him for sex.

Cipel went to NJ and pretended he was a naive rustic who didn't know the gov was gay and was expecting sex on demand in return for the $110,000 state job.

Cipel was a major screw-up, and participated with the corrupt McG admin in depraved schemes to deceive NJ voters. Cipel screwed up his HomeSec job, his Mossad mission and his sex duties as the gay gov's playmate.

Now, after his lawyer explained it to him, leech, and professional parasite Cipel is prepared to get US justice by looting the NJ treasury.

OTOH, McGay fellated Cipel, his voter base, and his big buck donor list, all at the same time.

Nope, not me.

I'll be glad to hand them the pills, rope, knife, pistol, plastic bag, exhaust hose - whatever they want.

By suicide watch, I meant I'd be happy to watch.
