You sound like a publisher. But, instead of "why don't you take the day off with pay?" the common refrain is "here's one more extra thing for you to do WITHOUT pay! Oh, and the check for that stuff you did for EVENTUAL pay will be in the mail Someday™ ... probably months after *I* get back from my days off WITH pay!"
(No idea how to punctuate that last sentence. LOL)
But...but...but...*sigh* 2 of 4 have every other Friday off. Today is the Friday, and the 3rd is a toss-up to be there, so it looks like I'll be there all day. BUT, no bosses!! I can visit the Canteen.
