No Soup Report!
Just as I was getting ready to leave for the Coast Guard base
a tree limb in the front yard fell on the main power line.
The power company just restored power about 10 minutes ago.
I called the base and let my crew know what had happened.
My Coast Guard Auxiliary crew is covering for me.
So I'll see them all Tue evening.
We have yearly elections that night also.

Seriously, though...Poppa told me that we have a new 'member' in the Canteen - Jacob Matthew!! Welcome home, little FRiend! You're in for a lot of fun now. Mommy gets to share you with Daddy and your brother and sisters, and you get to meet all those folks you've only been able to hear up until now. You're going to see Uncle KJ, and go bike riding, and swimming, and trick-or-treating (well, maybe next year). We're so excited for you!!

And you know what else? Mommy and Daddy might take you to the photo studio for pictures! When you go, you have to smile at the pretty lady with the funny toys and don't flinch when the lights flash, 'cause she's taking your picture and you want it to turn out just right for all of your FRiends to see how handsome you are!!
