'tis a gorgeous Fall day
at October's end
many leaves have fallen
on the ground they end
'tis their golden glory
that my eye doth see
scattered round the garden
crunching underfoot
the magic songs of Fall
I hear while, walking all about
'tis the crispness of the day I love
no more the song of the turtle dove
nor cooing of the iridescent pigeon
just the chirp of chickadee
round the feeder pecking
and the squawk of BlueJay
bothering the kitten
'tis a lovely day indeed
with promise of a Spring
but first the wind of winter's blast
are heard through the kitchen.

I am hoping my parents are back in town in time to take the kids T & T'ing, I live in an area that...if you're not home to hand out candy...you get egged. Somebody is always pulling mischief in this area!

Hope you will have a good time!! Get lots of candy and save some for later...wouldn't want a tummy ache!!

Tell Sarge-It's not fair stealing all the boys candy either!!!
