That would be kinda hard since Kerry has already blamed Bush and the Military for not guarding the explosives Kerry claims were there. I hope he does try and make that claim, he'll look like more of an idiot :-)

No, it makes sense that Qaddafi rolled over when he did. Putin, on the other hand, rolled over because of:
1. Belsan, and he now knows the havoc he caused, including the distinct possibility that the very weapons he helped smuggle out were used against children in Belsan. If it is ever found out that these same smuggle weapons were used against his people, he will lose everything.
2. He knows his country is directly involved in the oil-for-food program.
He's basically trying to cover his arse.

There's a possibility that once Russia knew that France and Germany would never agree to enforcing the U.N. Resolution, Russia decided to support us behind the scenes. This would be done under subterfuge, helping remove the most dangerous WMDs from Iraq under peaceful arrangements with Saddam, and with Saddam not knowing of Russia's real intentions, i.e., to prevent their use by the Republican Guards, and to prevent their falling into the hands of terrorists. It is not really a problem for us if Russia has these, because we know that they are grown-ups, and these would just add to their own arsenals.
That sure would be Machiavellian, wouldn't it!
And if Bush and our top administration were aware of this, they certainly couldn't reveal it, because it would definitely have been a national security issue of the highest order.
This could explain a lot!
The bottom line is that if Russia did remove the known WMDs from Iraq before we went in, they did the entire world a big favor.

Unduly pessimistic. We forced the MSM to confront the Kerry experience in Vietnam. We can do the same here, with coordinated effort.
Seems to me that tomorrow we have to release the satellite info to keep the story moving and substantiate the Defense Dept. disclosure.

[Deputy undersecretary of defense John A. Shaw believes the Russians moved the explosives out of al Qaqaa . . . ? Who is that supposed to convince? Evidence?]
There is at least as much evidence for this as there was for the current story of the troops not safeguarding the "stockpiles".

Wouldn't it also be great if Putin admitted Russia did this, but revealed that they also smuggled WMDs out of Iraq?!?!?!?!

The MSM will try to downplay this! We can't let them get away with it...they might even try to twist it around on Bush. We let them drop Rathergate too soon...we can't them drop this!

Maybe the Russians were working for us to get ordinance out of Iraq before we attacked. This has some merit. They have an islamofacist terror problem also.
