WASHINGTON, DC *In response to George W. Bush's invocation of prominent Democrats including President John F. Kennedy, Kennedy's daughter Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg issued this statement. "It's hard for me to listen to President Bush invoking my father's memory to attack John Kerry. Senator Kerry has demonstrated his courage and commitment to a stronger America throughout his entire career. President Kennedy inspired and united the country and so will John Kerry. President Bush is doing just the opposite. All of us who revere the strength and resolve of President Kennedy will be supporting John Kerry on Election Day."

Caroline - your father believed in lower taxes and said so before and during his Presidency - if you truly want to stick up for your beloved father, why don't you honor his memory by not lying about his policies?

Her father was the President of the United States, a club to which George W. Bush belongs. Mary Cheney on the other hand it a private figure. Are these people incapable of logical thought?

Hey Caroline -

You don't OWN your father's memory. And he would be rolling in his gave to listen to you democraps now.

Your father invoked an image of a strong country when he said during his inaugeration "We will pay any price, bear any burden..."

Today you people will do anything, say anything to avoid conflict. And it doesn't work. They will still attack us. Get it through your over-poufed elitist head.

She needs to realize that JFK, for better or for worse, is owned by America. Bush isn't evoking her father, he is evoking a past president. She has no more ownership over JFK's presidential legacy than Bush does.

As opposed to the non public figure MLK whose family gets money everytime he is quoted.

Then I hope Jessie Jackson and Sharpton are paying up!

I doubt John Kennedy would be endorsing kerry. Their political views are opposites. Taxes, for example, and the war in Vietnam, and personal responsibility (Ask not what your country can do for you , ask what you can do for your country).

You haven't the slightest concept of those words if you believe that john kerry has demonstrated them. You are now playing the "victim card" and it proves to all with any amount of intelligence that you are nothing but a spoiled brat of priviledge. The one objection I have is that President Bush lowered himself to use words spoken by john kennedy. With his whoring around while in office, he was as bad as bill clinton.

You are talking about a tax cutting, anti communist old school Catholic guy. Not one of those guys alive today are voting for Kerry.

Caroline:

Stop insulting your father's memory with your support of Kerry. Your father said "we will bear any burden..." NOT "we will bear any burden as long as we bend over and pass the appeasement global test."
