Let’s let the nervous reporters at NBC off the hook.... As it happens, the 3rd Infantry Division arrived at al Qa Qaa a week earlier on Friday April 3rd, 2003. Published Reports from the Associated Press and CBS verify this news and leave no doubt that they took a long look around the sprawling facility. In fact according to the AP, Col. John Peabody made reporters aware that the 3rd ID had “found thousands of 2-by-5-inch boxes, each containing three vials of white powder, together with documents written in Arabic that dealt with how to engage in chemical warfare.” Col. Peabody also informed CBS that, “they discovered atropine, used to counter the effects of nerve agents.” Some of you likely recall this story, as it was very big news at the time and all over network and cable news as any story that even resembled WMD captured entire news cycles.
Both reports are dated April 4th, 2003, but the New York Times omits them from their reporting.
So—here’s where we are. 380 tons of HMX and RDX were apparently located at al Qa Qaa at one time. The last time that Al Qa Qaa was looked at by the United Nations was March 15, 2003, four days before the war. The 3rd Infantry Division arrived on April 3rd 2003. When the 3rd ID .... That means the 3rd ID was on the lookout for WMD and would have been scouring the facility for any signs of explosives, conventional or otherwise. Some of the explosives may have been destroyed in bombings if any remained at Al Qa Qaa, but as the rest is missing that leaves an easy question—how was it moved out of the complex?..."

If we Mondale Kerry in this election, the MSM will have been dealt a lethal blow.
They have bet their future on Kerry. When Kerry is defeated, they will start to become history.
Besides conservatives turning off ABCNNBC BS and cancelling subscriptions to the main line fishwraps, a lot of independents and moderates will do the same.
The MSM can't survive without $s from us and the independents/moderates.

Kerry's strategy is to put the President on the defensive in the last few days of the campaign. It's working. Nobody's listening to anything else for the past several days. By the weekend the polls will show Kerry surging over the finish line. The proper response is to ignore the issue and make Kerry the issue.

I can only hope you're right. Kerry fairly snarls when speaking about the missing munitions if indeed there are any missing munitions. In my humble opinion, watching his harangs over this "story", Kerry doesn't have the gracious qualities, ministerial temperament nor the insight to be POTUS. Besides, I was in Vietnam and I feel that Kerry slandered me and all those who served with me. Furthermore, he is a traitor and moral coward. I swear that I will not live in this country if he somehow wins this election. I was planing on a circumnavigation anyway, I'll just move those plans up. We have room for eight more souls if you're interested.........
