I remember Art well. Saw him not too long ago on Larry King and he's still a class act with a find sense of humor. They don't make them like that anymore...at least not in my universe.

Each time our elections roll around we see politicians frighten senior voters with scare tactics about Social Security and Medicare.Gee, I wonder who Art is talking about. /sarcasm

How cool is THAT! About damned time. Even my mother, 82 years old and very intelligent, gets a little worried over sKerry scare tactics at times. I have to constantly calm her down on this topic due to the Dems' demagoguery. Shameless rat-b*stards...

I've heard the ad a few times. It's awesome.
There needs to be one directed at young people too.

What really annoys me is that I've been seeing a lot of Dems on TV lately tossing off lines like:
"The Bush campaign is all based on scaring people..."
"The Bush campaign has been relentlessly negative ..."
"Bush's mud-slinging and fear-mongering are going to bring on a backlash ..."
It kills me that the KERRY people make these charges, and the charges are not answered.

Brilliant idea, we desperately need Linkletter's message in Fla. There has never been a nat. election for anyone in S. Fla. that "Socha Security" has not been demagogued to death by the rats. It's sort of a way of life for them. But what kills them is the checks keep coming. Maybe by now the Seniors "get" it.
We are lucky here in S.Fla we also have former N.Y. mayor and "Democrat" Ed Koch working for Bush in S. Fla. among the elderly Jewish community. He is convinced Bush will be better than Kerry on "the" issue of the camping, Iraq/terrorism. If you know S.Fla. Jewish voters you realize Israel is always an issue. Koch sees Bush as a stronger allie to Israel than f'ing. He said so on Hannity yesterday.

I heard this ad on my way home from work yesterday - I thought it was great! I hope it drives the message home to people who might be frightened. I liked that it didn't name anyone in particular, just gave them ways to combat the scare tactics.

I don't believe I'd phrase it quite that way.
Hope these ads are very effective.
