If that screwball daschel wins, I think the Republicans can still refuse to seat him until the question of his residency has been settled. I see on another post that the paperwork in DC where he claimed DC as his principle residence has "mysteriously" (read that as by fraud) been changed.

It would seem Daschle has done himself in by trying to dodge paying a few grand in realestate taxes. How perfect! Democrats go to amazing lengths to avoid paying high taxes while they insist everyone else must.
Good riddance to saddened little greasy faced garbage. Don't let the door hit you in the arss on the way out wherever it is you've claimed to reside Mr.Daschle.

This poll was done for the Republicans. Mason-Dixon (unfortunately) has Daschle up by 2. The race is going to be close. Hopefully, Thune will pull it out.

Daschle's tax dodging reminds me of the people I've interviewed this week as hired farm help. Every last one of them wants to be paid cash under the radar of taxes. I've kind of humored them and explained that I can't do that. I later ask them their view on the election coming up and they proceed to tell me what a wonderful saint Kerry is. How appropriate that they refuse to pay taxes though. Last year I actually had a person scream their head off at me for issuing them a 1099. Like it was my new responsibility to pay the taxes on their money because I followed the law? Sheesh!

I hope and pray that this poll is accurate - but I would never underestimate the RATs ability to steal the election back.
The defeat of Dashole would be a major blow to the RATs - and a boost to GW.

I have posted on several occasions that I am not optimistic that Thune will pull off a win.
But oh boy would I love to eat that!

Be still my heart! (well, not * still*, but not quite so excited, either :-)

Does anybody wonder why RCP hasn't had an "objective" new S.D. poll posted since the 12th, and the Dem's haven't sited results from their internal polls to refute that "tie"?
