ABC Early Voting Poll: Bush Ahead
NewsMax ^ | 10/26/04 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 10/26/2004 3:50:25 PM PDT by wagglebee

ABC News reported Tuesday that polling of people who have already voted shows George Bush with the lead over John Kerry by a significant margin, 51% to 47%.

The network reports that this early voting represents 1 in every ten voters who will likely vote through Election Day.

But the poll results "doesn't mean Bush is 'winning' the absentee vote; the difference is within sampling tolerances. And among all likely voters, including those waiting for Election Day, the race is essentially tied: Forty-nine percent support Kerry and 48 percent Bush, with 1 percent for Ralph Nader in interviews Friday through Monday."

ABC's early voting polls also don't show results for key battleground states like Florida and Ohio. Democrats are already saying privately that results in key states look good for Kerry.

Even though people have had four years (from November 2000) to register, to find out where their polling place is, to find out what polling hours are...and they've had days and days of early voting, you can make book that on Election Night Effin's constituency will storm the polling places five minutes before closing time and cry about being disenfranchised that they can't vote after hours/in the wrong precinct/ballot too confusing, etc.

ABC memo exposing known bias discredits them and CBS and the lot from making any predictions worth noting.

Quite a few deep Red states have early voting so I don't think we can draw many conclusions from this.

If a dem told me that it was raining outside I'd have to look for myself to see if it were. I don't trust a thing that comes out of their lying mouths!

No.. If all the red states are doing early voting.. Including Texas, Tennessee, and North Carolina that he'll be taking by double-digits, Bush should be up more than 51-47

It is worth pointing out that early voting and absentee voting is currently going on in 30 states, including blue states California (55 EVs, easily the biggest fish in the pond), Oregon (7 EVs) (all voting is by mail), Washington (11 EVs), and Michigan (17 EVs) as well as Red states Texas (34 EVs) and Georgia (15 EVs) and battleground states Florida, Iowa, and New Mexico.

I also have a theory that Bush is going to to do even better among people who don't vote early in these states, the reason being that people who tend to vote early are more passionate or partisan than people who don't. This is where Bush' big advantage in personal internals (leadership, character, conviction, likability) are really going to pay off big.

The BS part about it not being correct is wrong. Bush is ahead...and will stay that way. Don't believe anything a lefy says. You should know by now that all they do is lie.

Yeah but ->

They haven't counted them yet!
