Are they actually doing early exit polling now?

I don't know this for a fact... Another poster on another thread speculated that they were - after all - why wouldn't they - they are doing all sorts of other polling every single day and they reported yesterday (the first day of early voting here in Ga.) - that the lines were up to 3 hours long!!

If they were getting good results for President Bush - would they report it?? - the other poster speculated this is why they ran with this story instead of waiting until Sunday.... In my book - nothing is too low down and dirty for them - I would believe anything at this point - and a week to go!!!

You are right that there is probably exit polling data, but there may be a law against reporting exit polling data other than on official election day.

Well, NYSlimes beat'em to the punch. Wonder why? Just a rating thang...OR somethin' skerry could run with since he's out of anything to hold against Bush. I would rather watch Chris Mattews than Bill O'Reilly-can't stand the pompous a$$. Chris has had some good shows at times. There Repub convention coverage was excellent if you ignored Ronnie Reagan. I watch Brit and Hannity and Colmes. Sometimes I watch the fox morning show and Oliver North's show.

I have never taken to Shepherd Smith, and when he reacted the way he did with the Swift-vets, that was it. I have been going more and more to Matthews --- not that I like him any better, but to listen to the panel. A well balanced panel, with good discussion, is worth putting up with Matthews.

Talking about panels -- the ones I like best are those with Krauthammer on them. I wish there was a list where he is going to be each day. What a mind!

Such a story could only be aimed for that stupidass undecided group. At this point, how much do you want their vote.

Unfortunately, their votes count as much as ours, and many of them vote after devoting a lot of "deep thought" to the issues. (Man, it hurt just to type that!)

I can hardly wait to see what October Surprise the Dems have ready for us. Maybe it's this terrorist tape I've heard about today. Wonder what'll be on 60 Minutes this Sunday. Those *&#$ing Dems are willing to do anything... Well, just read my current tagline.
