I heard this on Glenn Beck this morning and checked it out on his website.
Is this legit? Has it been proven a hoax? What is the deal with this absentee ballot? Help!
This ballot is a photoshop fake. Use FR search for 'ballot' and you'll see loads of discussion on it.
But the elections official resigned. Is it really fake?
Thanks. I didn't do such a simple search, I was using Ohio, absentee, glenn beck in conjunction with ballot.
Thanks. I couldn't believe it and knew Freepers would set it straight.
It was posted here under some title including the word DRUDGE as he had it on his website yesterday.
If this error is repeated there would be just as many bad Kerry ballots as there are Bush Ballots.
The image is definitely photoshopped. I can't speak to why an election official resigned. To suggest there is a connection based solely on time proximity is ill-advised. That's like claiming that ice cream causes muggings simply because sales of ice cream rise at the same time that muggings are also on the rise.
This is great news. Probably more Dems in an inner city county will fail to figure it out than Pubbies.
Drudge always used to be my first stop. Now FR is first because it's so much more complete. I was so busy today that I didn't get online until later to check this out.
It's a little disappointing that Beck hadn't taken it down since it was a fraud, unless he was doing one of his spoof things again. I didn't catch the whole bit as I was in and out of the car.
I swore I'd never listen to that guy again after he went off the deep end with regard to Abu Ghrab (sp?) but I listen to the morning show on his same station.
I knew I'd get the scoop from the Freepers. You guys are better (and quicker) than Snopes! --checked there too!--
