Exactly. If PA is NOT in doubt - why bring along Clinton? In fact, its an advertisement of Kerry's weakness that he still needs to gin up the base in a state Algore took by few hundred thousand votes four years ago.

If the voting Jews are smart in Florida they will stay miles away from Kerry. A Kerry win in Florida jeopardizes Israels security. If you think the Germans were bad in WWII then wait till Kerry pulls American support. It will be like giving the Terrorist a green light to take out a Democratic country. Just an opinion from a Baptist who believes what the bible says about protecting Israel..

I think you are right except I think Israel can take care of herself. I would bet on Israel against the entire arab world.

Oh, man, don't even think about I tie. I'm afraid the Dims would take to violence. They are unhinged this year. :)
I think the thing that would stop your scenario is that Nevada looks pretty safe for Bush and it looks likely we'll also get New Mexico.

can I ask how you know about the GOP inside polling. If someone will have to kill you if you tell me, just email me. I have an inquiring mind.
I can interpret your question in one of two ways, so I'll cover both.
1. If you're asking "How do I know that the campaigns do independent polling that is better than the mass media polls" the answer is easy... I used to work in politics as a congressional aid and this is no secret to those who work in or around campaigns."
2. If you're asking "How do I know what the CURRENT polls are telling the campaigns" the answer is also easy. I used to work in politics as a congressional aid and I can tell by their actions in this last week before the election where they think they have to campaign. From that it's a fairly simple process to play "jeopardy," pose the answer in the form of a question, and extrapolate back what the polls are telling them.

Especially if they have to yank Clinton out to campaign in Philly. Philly is pretty much like Bush campaigning in Houston so doenst make sense. Maybe it's part of the Democrats "get out the dead" vote.

Remember al gores implosion at the end of 2002 where we thought noone could get him to stop, that late nite thing in Florida. Al Gore was in better shape than Kerry. Kerry just might give us a big treat and have to be carted off. It has to be impossibly grueling.

How is early voting even legal? Doesn't the US Constitution explicitly say that federal elections must be the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November?

He's in Colo to help Pete Coors in the Senate race. He's in Florida to help Mel Martinez. Both of those states are in the bag already - so's teddy kennedy!
