South Florida TV meteorologist Bill Kamal was arrested Sunday in Fort Pierce as part of an investigation into sexual predators.
Authorities say Kamal set up a meeting for sex over the Internet with what he thought was a 14-year-old boy. The boy was actually an undercover federal agent, police say.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office said Kamal had two condoms when he was arrested as well as two toys, one of which was a water gun.
WSVN representatives said the station has fired Kamal. Kamal had been the Miami station's chief meteorologist.
Investigators confiscated Kamal's laptop computer and a desktop computer, but will not say if they found anything illegal on the computers.
Kamal is being held without bond in the St. Lucie County Jail.
FYI..in the NYC public schools, it took 9 years to fire a teacher who was the VP of NAMBLA..the guy sat at a desk, did nothing, and got paid...guess TV weathermen have a lousy union..

How stupid are some guys? We read this story just about once a month. There has to be far more FBI agents posing as minors trolling for sex than there are actual minors trolling for sex.
A local morning conservative talk show host outed this guy a few weeks ago. He said that he had seen said weatherman with a guy on South Beach.. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but when you involve minors, THEN it is plain wrong!

Back in the mid 80's some weather man in Atlanta got busted for solicting teen age boys in Columbus Georgia. One day the guy was there, the next day he was gone and no one in the local media would cover it. He just disappeared.
I wonder if this is the same guy??

Why in God's name do they have 14 year olds as Federal Agents??? They are too young...sigh...stolen youth.
