You're right. They were playing this clip this morning on WLS in Chicago and I said, "No thanks to you..." after hearing his comment about the Cold War. The clip ended and Terri O'brien said, "No thanks to you..."
There is so much to be offended about in what he said. I personally don't even think President Bush gains anything by making a blanket promise of security when he speaks about terrorism. I cringe when he does it. You can not stop all the fanatics.
