Zorro, despite what some of the members here are saying we do have a couple of open liberals (Democrats) in Free Republic. Mind your manners, don't post drivel, and I'm sure you will be fine. Who knows, perhaps you'll learn something.

Both parties want the same things. They just disagree about how to get to that point. Yeah, I remember being young and naive enough to believe that too, but then I took a good look at reality and realized that it didn't match my platitudes.

he's pretty close to the Conservative position. Voting for Kerry is NOT close to the "conservative opinion"

Think it through. When taxes are lowered, businesses are able to invest more into their companies and provide more jobs. When more jobs are created, more people are working and paying taxes themselves. They are also not feeding from the government welfare system. More product is manufactured which means more is sold, and again more tax revenue is made.
The opposite of capitalism is socialism which does suck the system dry - the revenue just isn't there, the spending isn't possible because one is paying confiscatory taxes up the ying-yang, and more people are taking from the government than giving to it. (Not that the socialists care - it gives them great power over your life.)

And..what do you think happens when someone who is a conservative and says they are voting for Bush goes over and taunts that on the DU?
To: Zorro349
But, these people calling him stupid are just as bad as the group of Republicans that like to pidgeon-hole Kerry as "French". I wish politics were clear of such vile names Aha. Caught you referring to "French" as a vile name.
You are only posing as a liberal, for purposes you cannot reveal as yet. Carry on.

Both parties want the same things. That sentence alone gives you away as a troll. Only a total idiot would believe that.

Roberts, keep up the good work with your daughter, she sounds bright and on the right track. I've "lost" the older children temporarily to liberalism, but, I am working earnestly on the 4th grader. He questions everything? He's been to candidate forums, etc. He's even worn his "Kids for Dubya 04" shirt to school.

What happened to the togetherness that was shared after 9-11 SS. There is the lies of the left. There never was a "togetherness"!

It's the sound of the electric arc which comes when the Admin Moderator deletes a troll's account.
You will then smell ozone.
