I just read this on polipundit. 49% to 48%
heck, CA and WA may not even be safe if an East Coast blowout depresses the vote...
America loves a winner, Senator.
...I called and there was crying... but they said something about 'lava become solid' and 'red southerns'... I'm not sure I understood.
Not so, New Jersey and Ct border NY. A lot of us will never forget.
Update received, it was a goose, Kerry ended it's hopes and aspirations.
I hope, but I am skeptical...
You never know.
There could be GOP-aligned 527s that have been doing work under the radar that we aren't aware of, too, in these states.
Is this the major Northern State that was going to be revealed leaning Bush today?
The Roper Center at UCONN seems to be the source, but confirming now, seems to be pretty well respected.
How many "undecideds" are left in most of these polls? I haven't been following them closely.
I'm depressed. WA hasn't even had an outlier poll that I'm aware of. LOL
I don't think it is necessarily true these are outlier's, I think the MSM has made it impossible to accurately judge the country's feeling. If they were even semi impartial this would be a blowout. Since they aren't, hard to tell how much weight the MSM still carries in this country. Obviously they still carry some.
I'm less concentrated on the poll, and more focused on the Courant endorsement. That isn't something I expected.
I was thinking about CT and thought maybe it had something to do w 9/11. Also, Lieberman has supported the Pres's war policies - - couldn't hurt. That said, I'll believe CT when I see it on election night.
With Hawaii, New Jersey, Connecticut rejecting Kerry, I wonder how long until we see a Massachusetts poll show the state tied.
There's a pattern here: MI,HI,CT. They are all Kerry "safe states" all showing sudden slippage for Kerry. You can extrapolate that the safe Kerry states are going leaning Kerry, leaning Kerry ones to tossup, and tossups to leaning Bush.
It looks like there's a Kerry bleed going on, and it might be starting to be pronounced. Zogby is now inferring the independents are leaning Bush. This might be causing this slide away from Kerry. Have to keep watching these state polls.
I live here. I don't see W winning it but I do see it a lot closer than 2000. We'll see.
I think CT should be close. It's on the other side of New York. And I wouldn't be surprised if Connecticutians know something of John Kerry.
The Hartford Courant endorsement of BUSH!...is one of the most amazingly articulate defenses of the President out there.
This is a must read. Just breathtaking.

The Courant endorsed Bush in 2000 as well, no surprises here. Lieberman and Bush are on the same wavelength vis a vis WOT and Iraq. Courant as well.
I'll grant you Washington perhaps, but I don't see us pulling off California. If we do, and if Boxer goes down in flames too, I'll be delirious.
