That's gonna be a kick in the nuts to a lot of liberals who think that the libertarian party is with them.

I've always said those libertarians really know what they're doing...I did say that, I think?
We need all the support we can muster. Thanks John Hospers.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
Got a link to an official Libertarian Party site with this statement?

I think many others will break for W. because this election is that crucial.

Will this shift any of the Libertarian voters?

Congratulations to John Hospers for getting it. It will be hard to fight the Republican v Libertarian ideological battle when even more of us are dead from terrorist attacks and the rest of us are having all of our money taken by the federal government and speaking French or Arabic.

There is a belief thats common among many libertarians that there is no essential difference between the Democrat and Republican Parties -- between a John Kerry and a George W. Bush administration; or worse: that a Bush administration would be more undesirable. Such a notion could not be farther from the truth, or potentially more harmful to the cause of liberty. Props to Hospers for exposing the Big Lie.

Thanks for the post and thank you Hosper. 10K lawyers alone equal chaos. Gore tried it to an extent in 2000, but kerry has brought more force with him. We have to stop the hi-jacking of this election and America.

I've already "shifted". Voting LP on all the local races, Bush for Prez. Didn't need Hospers to point it out either.
The LP pretty much lost me when they embraced pacifism instead of non-initiation of force.

We stand today at an important electoral crossroads for the future of liberty, and as libertarians our first priority is to promote liberty and free markets, which is not necessarily the same as to promote the Libertarian Party Hospers is making entirely too much sense. And he's far from the only Libertarian who's coming to his senses.
