That’s the sound you hear of the Botox/Breck ship as it begins to sink:

Soros attacks Moore.

MoDo attacks JFake “goose killer” Kerry.

The Clintons go “on the road” as it were “for” Kerry.

So many of the ‘Rats are abandoning the ship it seems.

About the Clintons… Why are they coming out for Kerry? They’re not, really. They are coming out for the Clintons pure and simple:

They know that ’08 is Hitlery’s one and only chance: Were Kerry to win and by some even greater miracle succeed, she could not run against a successful incumbent and in ‘12 she would be too old – “Third oldest President at inauguration” is a sobriquet her immense ego would never let her accept. Not to mention that so many of the Clinton faithful will have passed on. The “mystique” will have died - literally.

Were Kerry to win and fail miserably as he would, the Dems would be dead in the water in ’08 and no matter who the Good Guys would run, they would win.

’08 is their one and only chance for her to become Queen (perish the thought) and they know it and are going to subtly see that it has a chance, the only chance, to happen. What’s another death. political or otherwise along the way to Clinton glory?

They know that wherever they go, they are going to draw masses of the Clinton faithful (and it will make for impressive Dem rally #s) and they can praise Kerry, damn Kerry, damn Bush, praise Bush, even just read the phone book or whatever. The crowd will be abuzz with “I got to see Slick” or “I got to see Hitlery” and to them Kerry will become a nonentity – as rightly he should.

Quietly, carefully, skillfully and cunningly, they are going to help sink the K/E boat. I said once before in a much earlier post that they would just stay back and let the Kerry campaign self destruct but if the race became too close, they would step in for their own self preservation and help make sure of the sinking of the ship that’s afloat on gin and raisins. What else would get Slick off his “death-bed” and out on the campaign trail again? To help Kerry and thereby close Hitlery out in ’08? Do you understand the term “obese possibility”?

The Clintons are out only for the Clintons and Kerry is but a sacrificial lamb along the way.

If, in ’08, America decides that it’s time for a woman to be President, let’s have a very classy Condi Rice run against the “trailer trash” that is Hillary. Talk about a runaway! I’ll even make the popcorn for all to watch that very one sided cat-fight!

I say again, that soft squeaking sound you hear is not rats (or ‘Rats) in your attic, it’s the sound of the Clintons slowly opening the scuttling valves on the SS Kerry.

There my friends, is the true “October Surprise.”

Just my tuppence there, of course…

Soros Rips Michael Moore; Billionaire Also Denies Insider Trading Conviction and Defends MoveOn “Surrender” Ad

Date: October 21, 2004
Contact: John Carlisle 703-237-1970 or 703-798-0655 (cell), or Peter Flaherty 703-864-7902 (cell)
Web: www.nlpc.org

George Soros denounced filmmaker Michael Moore for using unethical and misleading tactics following a speaking engagement in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on October 19. But the billionaire liberal still defended a controversial TV ad by MoveOn.org, a liberal advocacy group heavily subsidized by Soros.

Soros was speaking at Harrisburg’s Tuesday Club as part of his nationwide tour calling for the defeat of President Bush. Members of the Soros Truth Squad, sponsored by the National Legal and Policy Center, attended the event and confronted Soros.

In response to a question from Harrisburg Patriot-News reporter Peter DeCoursey about fellow Bush-critic Moore, Soros criticized the filmmaker for resorting to inaccuracies “to mislead the American people.” Soros emphatically stated, “I am not a fan of Michael Moore.” (http://www.pennlive.com/search/index.ssf?/base/news/1098264048106700.xml?pennnews)

During the question and answer period, Soros defended a TV commercial aired by MoveOn PAC in September that portrayed an American soldier in Iraq sinking chest-deep into the desert. His arms were raised over his head in the universal “surrender” position. The ad said, “George Bush got us into this quagmire. It will take a new president to get us out.” In response to a wave of protest, MoveOn.org pulled the ad.

Asked by Charlie Gerow of Quantum Communications if he agreed with the commercial, Soros declined to criticize it. He said it is an “accurate representation” of the U.S. situation in Iraq and “I don’t see what is wrong with that.” (The Q&A period can be viewed at www.GeorgeSoros.com.)

NLPC President Peter Flaherty asked Soros why he came to Pennsylvania, “where corporate scandals have cost people their jobs,” telling working people how they should vote given his conviction for insider trading in France.

Soros denied that he was convicted. Numerous news organizations in the U.S. and Europe reported, however, that Soros was convicted of insider trading in December 2002 and fined $2.2 million. Furthermore, Soros previously admitted that he was convicted. In a September 12, 2003 interview on the PBS show “Now with Bill Moyers,” Soros told reporter David Brancaccio, “I was found guilty.”

After denying that he had been convicted, Soros attacked the Soros Truth Squad, calling it “Orwellian.”

Good job. You have eloquently said what I have been saying for at least two years.

"Clinton becoming Secretary General would probably be the best thing that could happen"

Au contraire...

As another posted in a different thread, the Sec Gen cannot come from a permanent member nation of the Security Council.

Kerry would have to have this country give up that invaluable position in order to have Slick take that seat. Even though Jacques would try to lead his pet poodle in that direction, I don't think even Kerry would do it even if he could.

Would there, could there be any recovery from resigning such a "permanent" position on the Council"

Since the US's position there is "permanent", is it even possible for the US to resign?

Can you imagine what the already ineffectual UN would look like without the US having either influence or more importantly, veto power over the likes of France and Germany in the Security Council?

Perish the thought!

And as for the idea of Hitlery becoming the Chief of the Supremes -- not a chance! for her, it's all or nothing for now. Perhaps in a second Kerry term she might get nominated... bwahahahahahaa

No way that the Senate, regardless of its composition would ever confirm her. Even a 100 Dem member Senate could not contain that many lunatics!

Just MHO, of course.

"what I have been saying for at least two years"

To you, I post a most humble "Thank You."

If any have doubts, I recommend a quick read of "American Evita" for therein you might get just a bit of an insight into the Clinton way of doing things. Or at least the Hillary way...

There is nothing but nothing to which at least she will not stoop in their/her quest for power. Just ask Vince Foster.

I think the Hillary boogeyman is overworked and may dilute focus from the current peril. A LOT can happen in four years, as we have seen.

H! could lose interest, her base could fade, she could get sick, or run over by a cesspool-pumping truck. (The latter gave me a warm feeling while typing.)

I agree with your analyses. This Kerry is a fool, he probably sees Hillary as an "ally". She'll treat him the same way France & Germany would.
