JAX Rally

It was awesome said my daughter. There was 50,000. It was the warmest crowd of people. Air Force 1 did a fly by which excited everyone which was so amazing. Daughter states words does not give it justice as to how great it was. Todd's Beamers parents spoke to the crowd prior to the President's arrival. My son and grandson make it on the big screen during the President's speech. Aaron Tippin played. My granddaughter age 4 was screaming four more years. One of the best posters was Democrats for Bush. The President speech was very positive and upbeat. The gates opened at 10:30 and even though they waited for six hours for the President, nobody complained. My Navy Son said this is truly Bush Country.

And the liberal scumbags reporting at WJXT channel 4 in Jacksonville show the 6 pro-Kerry protesters outside Alltel BEFORE they show the President on the 6pm news.

Thanks for the post. I live out here in firm Bush country and won't get to attend any rallies but I love hearing from people who were there. VIVA BUSH!

What freepers need to keep note of....

When you hear of these HUGE numbers at Bush rallies...

This is another way for the BC04 people to keep fine-tuning their GOTV effort...they are able to use their volunteers to contact these HUGE numbers of people for these rallies in a few days...all because of their GOTV machine...

...this will come in handy on Nov. 2!

I just got home - It was AWESOME, the crowd was wild as Air Force One went over the length of the stadium. What a class act - speakers were great, boy the troops are fired up and you can best bet, we'll hold the line for Bush here in Jacksonville. Mel Martinez, JEB and LAURA accompanied "W" and it was well worth the wait in the sun, good thing there was at least a breeze....

My daughter said there was about ten protestors and they looked like they had been sleeping under some bridges. I told her not to be surpised when the liberal media states there were a thousand protestors. I think I read Ft Myers had 20 protestors and the media said 200.

Tutstar and I just got back. It was awesome. Of course the first thing we saw on the bias media (NBC)coverage was only 30,00 showed, but the report is 50,000 showed. Looked more like 50,000 to me.

The fly by of Air Force 1 was truly amazing. I have seen many of the military jets do fly bys, but to see a jumbo jet do one, well.....

When GW said you can run, the crowd yelled back; But you can't hide. The first time he said this he looked surprised at the response and the next time he got into it with us. It was just great. Will post pics as soon as we can download them.

As for protesters, if they were there, we never saw them.

This must be Bush country

The stadium holds about 80,000. So how full was it? One of the pictures shows the upper decks empty.

We just got home too. I'm still too emotional to say anything intelligent. I'll get my pictures downloaded ASAP. We had some of the best seats in the whole place. We were within 6 ft of George and Laura (felt like it anyway). She looked right at us and waved coming in and going out because she liked our sign. She looked my daughter in the eye, nodded, smiled and waved. We were all crying like fools. It was a beautiful thing. Woohoo!

Our sign said "Native Texans for Bush!"

We were close enough to see the twinkle in Laura's eye and the tender hearted tears in George's. Laura really does have a gorgeous sparkle in her eyes. You can see it. Lovely!

The speech Kim Alexis gave was incredible. She was awesome! She brought me to tears. That girl can preach! I wish I could find a transcript of what she said.

My son said he is so proud of his Commander in Chief. My daughter said the fly by of Air Force One was a sight to behold. She said, Mom, all of these people waiting for over six hours and yet, not one complaint. She said that it was truly a morale booster and even now, the whole family is still on a "Bush" high....

Not me, I would have waiting 48 hours, if it meant seeing our President in person......Do not be to surprise if the state goes for Bush and finally say adieu to Boxer. you read it here first....

You notice this with all of Bush's rallies, the crowds are large and enthusiastic, while Kerry "crowds" are much smaller, usually hand picked, and seems to have a lot of young people under voting age, and even then, they don't appear to be anywhere near as excited.
