From the article by Guardian columnist Charlie Brooker:
"On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"

There is a special place in hell for the editors of this Rag
Expedite maybe, extradite no.
"...Sod's law..."
What the heck is that?
Same as Murphey's law
I'm Speechless....
Is this the same outfit that sent the letters to Ohio?
I think he was overstating his case. Although he may be
pulling for a crazed out wacko who would take his pleading
seriously. But if you read his whole article it is obvious
he cannot even look at "debate" objectively in any way.
He is of the "pull the string, and I'll say something
objectionable" school of writing. I think the Euros are
afraid that we (meaning USA) will REALLY do what we say.
We will go after terrorist scum anywhere. They don't even
know how to protect themselves from their own home grown
terrorists, and they are probably afraid that once the pressure is on the terrorist, the terrorist will start attacking people in their host country (i.e. France, Germany, England, like they did in Russia, Spain, and
Indonesia.)
I think it's time for the Eurocowards (not all of them
you know) to realize, that they can run from the terrorists,
but they cannot hide. They better stand up soon, or they
will be cut down by terrorists. (of course, the reality
challenged ones will blame the US cause we had the guts
to go after the terrorist.)
Have at them boys

Fox will pick up on this....bank on it
Yep. See post #90, also... The Guardian made a deal early in the year to work with MoveOn.org and Air America.
There is a law against making a death threat to a sitting president. I would think that Tony Blair should step on this one and put an end to it. The line has been crossed. If someone were to assasinate the fellow who wrote this, they would be justified, by his own words
