Two schools of thought here.
1) The wolf ad is the hardest ad they will run and next week we will see quite a few "soft ads"
2) They are saving the best for last. IF the wolf ad was the hardest ad they had, why would they release it this week. No, I think next week we will see an ad that will blow our minds. Possibly a video of Kerry desecrating a flag. Maybe worse!

actually, from here on out, I think there will be no more really negative ads. I think that for the last week, we will try to take the high road and stick to optimistic positive ads.
Maybe the 527s will put out some more negative stuff--but I doubt the official B/C campaign will.
Where is the ad about the inexperienced Mr. Edwards? Why isn't anyone talking about his remarkable lack of credentials?
We'll see some funny ads too. I guarantee we'll see an ad of Kerry in hunting garb. The ad will say: John Kerry. Another liberal elitist trying to blend in with middle america."

---Democrats for Bush
---Rove still has never used the footage of Kerry saying it would be "irresponsible" to vote against the $87 billion... the next week he voted against it.
---REturn to the ads with just Dubya & Laura on the screen with him telling us what he will do for the next 4 years.
The flag thing is an urban myth. There is no video of John Kerry desecrating a flag. Too bad though. I am sure he did at one time or another either burn one or encourage one to be burned. I hope they have a huge video for next week. The wolf one is great.
Exactly. Those supposedly undecideds and others need a wake-up call to the fact that an ambulance chaser would be a heartbeat away from the Oval Office. Did the dimocrats really think that the hairboy could carry the south?
They talked about the wolf ad on PBS last night. Anyone know where I can see it online? In Texas, I don't think either side has run an ad all year.
Never mind. I went to Bush-Cheney and found it. DUH!
In 2000 the Bush/Cheney team stopped hard hitting ads and speeches the last week and a half of the campaign and it almost cost them. Al Gore continued to attack even harder (particularly on Social Security) and the DUI charge came out while Bush was going around just asking for people's vote. Both him and Rove have said this won't be the case this year and they plan on being aggressive to the end.
