Will this help Kerry hold MN? There may be 5 percent Ventura "kool-aid" drinkers up in the Twin Cities. What was Ventura's real name: Eric Something? Ventura is an alias.

Sorry I don't know how to post a photo but go to "www.kstp.com" to see Jesse's photo, which one of the radio stations described as his "street person attire." I love the braided beard. This guy is nuts, always has been.

People voted for Ventura for the same reason they voted for Perot, because they were tired of the old politicians and he looked like an interesting new guy.

After they got a better look at him, they decided they had made a mistake. Same as Perot. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice. . . . Neither of them could get elected dog catcher at this point.

This is not news. It would have been news if Ventura had of endorsed GWB.

Ventura kind of reminds me of a Nadar type.

I couldn't be more delighted to hear who Jesse Venture is endorsing. It's one step lower than an endorsement from Donald Duck.

What was Ventura's real name

James George Janos)

Jesse Ventura (born July 15, 1951, as James George Janos) was elected the 38th Governor of Minnesota on November 3, 1998, after a career as professional wrestler, actor, mayor, and radio talk show host. He ran as a candidate for the Reform Party and "shocked the world," as he phrased it, when he unexpectedly beat the major-party candidates: St. Paul mayor Norm Coleman (Republican) and Minnesota Attorney General Hubert "Skip" Humphrey (Democratic-Farmer-Labor). Ventura, who spent considerably less than his opponents, is widely regarded as one of the first candidates to effectively use the Internet in a political campaign. He served as governor from January 4, 1999 to January 6, 2003.

Ventura's slackers are too lazy to show up for a Ventura endorsement. Anyway, Jesse is establishment now. The thrill is gone...

So, he changed his mind in the last few days did he? Hmmm, interesting. I thought the guy was a little more conservative than this, but guess not.

Oh well, there goes my respect for the man. Too bad Gorilla Monsoon ain't around, he'd give him a peace of his mind. Better yet, why don't we send Rowdy Roddy Piper to teach him a lesson? B-)

Given name: James Janos

Jessie was the beginning of the end for the Socialists in Minnesota. IMHO, he represented a backlash against the Humphrey gang that ruled Minnesota for so long.

We have Coleman and Pawlenty now, Dayton will be gone soon as well.
