Howlin, even as an attempt to air the issue of how the media affects presidential elections, it was a pathetic mess of a broadcast. I speak from 20 years in the business of news and video production. From both of those angles, it was amateurish and shallow.

The resources of Sinclair Broadcasting should have been able to assemble a more credible piece, no matter what point they wanted to make. In format, production values, and news value, it was a twinkie without the filling.

Well....they WERE time-constrained after they decided to NOT air STOLEN HONOR in its entirety--and they had to put together a 'replacement' show. This had to limit their ability to make a polished, professional product.

I'm sure they were scrambling to appease the democrats somewhat after the threats of intimidation/retaliation/lawsuits from the looney-left.

After all, they capitulated by even changing the title of what they had originally advertised.

I'm gladto know what really was going on. I was doing other things, had the show on and thought a local station was doing a rebuttal to Stolen Honor before SH was to be run. Then I thought the station showed Reba instead of SH. Oh well, glad I saw it on the internet from the link provided here on FR.
