To all concerned, thanks. My wife's mom is moving fingers and toes, and things are looking up. No word on stroke damage (although I am led to believe fingers and toes on both sides) so we move ahead, and thanks for all the prayers from this group. If anyone knows a way I can post this update so that everyone who replied to my prayer thread can be updated, please let me know!

50sDad, first of all, YOU are a kind heart. Please know that that radiates out to all of us, in your post, like beams from Heaven. Hand it over to The Almighty. He will comfort and keep you and your wife, Ginny Koon, and your wife's loving family members. I understand your extra sorrow and worries for your wife's younger family members who have never lost a close loved one. It was that way for me too until last year.
