ST. PAUL - Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura has officially endorsed Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry.
The announcement was made during a 30-minute news conference at the State Office Building. The former Minnesota was there, but did not make any comments.
Just days ago, Ventura had said that he did not plan to support Kerry or President Bush this election year.
Also at the news conference was former Maine Gov. Angus King, who was the only other third-party governor during Ventura's years in office. He said Ventura changed his mind and decided to endorse Kerry.
Organizers didn't even know Ventura was going to show up until the news conference started. He told reporters who followed him out to his car afterward that he'll be doing interviews in Los Angeles.
JESSIE VENTURA SPORTING HIS NEW HOMELESS SHELTER LOOK
Mary...can you please post a pic of the Rock?.....please
ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............
You're right, Jesse was never a seal, he was, however UDT, which was, sort of, the precursor to the seals.
No/ not dumber in Nam, but dumb and dumber in Scambodia for Christmas!
Can you post a before and after pictures for us youngun's?
With his endorsement, the President probably just got a five percent bump in MN. This election is so over. I predict an electoral landslide.
Jesse who? (BTW he looks just awful in that phot, like he's sick or something. Steroid use does catch up with you eventually.)
Jesse has sustained one too many suplexes to the head.
Bonked too many times helped by a Blassy named Fred
Bashed it all around.
Now it weighs about a pound.
JESSE VENTURA ENDORSES KERRY, (proof hes brain-dead).
Yes, I know that, but he never saw combat. He seems to like to suggest that he was more and did more off the coast of Nam than is warranted.
Girly Man
Jesse "The Skullf*ck" Ventura lost his credibility years ago even before his term as governor ended.
If there was one thing the Democrats and Republicans agreed on over in the State Capitol, it was that they were going to ignore Jesse Ventura as much as possible.
What a friggin' loser!
I'm from Minnesota too. His opinion does not mean much here. It is that I am always amazed that people from outside Minnesota seem to think he is this great libertarian leader. Perhaps this is due to Rush's comments about him.
Jesse could talk, but he could not bring himself to actually do anything but apologize for his libertarian comments.
Why do these people think whoever they endorses makes a hill of beans to us red states?
But....But.... Kerry said he was in NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!! He did He did!!! (barf!)
Got that right.
He has lost some of my respect with this move.
I hope no one pays attention to Ventura, but Ventura could help Kerry in MN. Its a close race and if he could swing a handful of Indy's to Kerry's camp, it could change the race
You are absolutely correct - Jesse fooled a lot of people into thinking he was a Libertarian including my husband. I used to get into huge fights with him over Jesse because my husband is a conservative that leans Libertarian on lots of things. I kept telling him Jesse was a plain old Democrat pretending to be something else because the Democrat spot was already taken. Before he left office, he showed his true colors.
and this will draw, what...3-5 votes for Kerry? what a loser.
The Capt.
