It used to be that they were simply misguided people trying to be good, but in the 20th Century they allowed themselves to be infected with the hatred of the politics they were associating themselves with. Now all the "traditionally peaceful denominations" as a local Church of the Brethren pastor describes them, combine all the hate-spew of the secular Left with all the silly do-it-to-be-seen hucksterism of a bad TV evangelist.
BTW, may I ask...why'd you pick that screen name?
Maybe they'll all catch the flu that evening...to the point where they just can't get up Tuesday at all.
That sure couldn't hurt...
You are cleared hot, GeorgiaBushie! Light 'em up!
Maybe not Quakers, but let's just say you live in a target rich environment.
Upload some napalm canisters and take your pick...
Ready to Rock!
You are cleared hot! Light 'em up!
Of course, the pinkos in Arizona are probably still cowering in fear after what happened to the two pie-throwing geeks at the Anne Coulter speech yesterday.
You bet they're cowering. And they ought to! They had lots of guts when it came to assaulting a lone woman on that stage but now when some guys want to hold a serious debate with them they're no-shows. (This is where the expression: "Down a 'RAT hole" comes from.)
That being said, SERIOUS KUMBAYA ALERT HERE FOLKS!!
The thing that got the Socialists elected in Spain was not the terrorist attacks, but the "peace demonstrations" held outside of PP (Aznar's conservative party) headquarters on election eve, and those surrounding the polling places on election day.
Most of these were, of course, filled with Socialist party members - there are even phone logs of Socialist leaders sending out text messages telling their faithful to go to the demonstrations. The result was that many voters, particularly the elderly and women, were scared away from voting.
I have a very strong feeling that, even without a terrorist attack, this is going to happen here.
Can't believe I'm missing Howard Zinn tonight.
Thanks for link - I suspect our Ventura County libs are plotting as we speak.
Evil for sure. I would not be surprised if some of them had the Sign of the Beast emblazoned on their chest. Heck, I am sure some are card carrying members of Witch Coven Local 666.
Folks, these quakers, witches, warlocks & assorted gargoyles are a domestic terrorist threat. When will the country wake up and confront them? That is what I want to know!
I saw an ANSWR bumper sticker with the 'NOT' cut out the other day, it said "WAR IS THE ANSWER"
National Council of Churches? Dang, they've been in the corner of the Communists since 1940 at least. When I saw that and "Friends" well, all I can say about the liberalism there is "Whoomps there it is!!!" B-P
ya, sure thing!! Anything with United for Peace & Justice is NOT nonpartisan! I'll skip this one. Or better yet, I'll attend with my Bush/Cheney poster! UPJ nonpartisan, that's funny!! Thanks for the laugh!
OOPS!! Missed your final thought!! You had me in mind with the counter-protest thing!! Maybe I'll try to counter the Frisco peaceniks!
Here in Atlanta, ready to counter.
Did our Vietnam Vets thing today on Marietta Square. More people there this week than last and more press including the Atlanta Journal/Constipation (no photographer though).
Some protestors stood across the square yelling "thou shalt not kill" at the Vietnam vets (protesting Kerry). They were ineffective and only lasted less than an hour. Vietnam vets were there 3 hours.
Very simply, that's where the violence is to take place.
