On-Going Rally for Our Troops at Fort Monmouth!!!

I would like to inform the fine people of New Jersey about a group who dishonor our brave military and their families at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown. Each Saturday anti-America protestors gather in front of Fort Monmouth to espouse their revulsion of our great country and our Commander-In-Chief. They position themselves so the military families must pass by on the way to their homes. The group is The Central NJ Coalition for Peace and Justice. Their web site is www.njpeace.org/ourstory.htm . Do not be misled by their name. For the past few years a lone Vietnam Vet has had the courage to stand up to The Central NJ Coalition for Peace and Justice. Like me, I believe many of us want to support our brave troops in Iraq. We need to unite against American protestors with a strong show of support for the troops who are fighting terrorism and ensuring freedom.

The organization of www.protestwarrior.com  has organized a Support the Troops Rally at Fort Monmouth every Saturday. You will see us on the corner with our Support the Troops signs and flying our American flags. Join us in our peaceful show of support for our brave military families. On Saturday 10/9/04 a woman came to us in tears expressing her gratitude for what we are doing. Her husband has served in Afghanistan and Iraq. She's disheartened by the constant barrage of hate directed toward the military families by the anti-war activists. If we all come together and show support at Fort Monmouth we can broaden the message. We are all capable of showing our gratitude to the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces that put their lives on the line so our society remains free. Join us in showing support for our troops every Saturday at noon across from Fort Monmouth on Highway 35 South in front of the Exxon station. K. Singer Toms River

There will be a rally on Monday, October 25, at noon on the Statehouse steps in support of the lawsuit filed earlier this week by the Rutgers Constitutional Litigation Clinic on behalf of Assemblyman Reed Gusciora, individuals, the Coalition for Peace Action and NJ Peace Action. The lawsuit called for 15 NJ counties utilizing electronic voting machines to be required to provide paper ballots to ensure that every vote is counted and every vote is counted accurately this November 2nd.

NJ Peace Action's Election Night Watch Party on Tuesday, November 2nd, from 7:30pm until 11:30pm at the Luna Stage, 695 Bloomfield Avenue, in Montclair.  Call the NJ Peace Action office at 973-744-3263 to make reservations and for more information.

Englewood, NJ, City Council Election

Could you please  help us in Englewood. We are on the verge of electing the first GOP Councilman in 20 years!! Our candidate Dr. Bob Lebovics is an Ear, Nose & Throat surgeon. He ran last year city wide  carrying the Second Ward by nearly 2:1
His D opponent won her primary by 11 votes - she only got 34% of the democrat primary vote. This year Bob is running for the 2nd ward only seat-home of 800 Republican voters. But the new registrations are nearly 600! There is an excellent shot here- a great candidate & we have money but we do not have labor.
We will pay $10/ hour for door-to-door literature distribution both Sunday afternoon 10/24 and Monday night Nov 1st. We also need help election day. We've asked YRs & TARS & College YRs but with little success. Anyone interested can call our campaign toll free 866-568-2585  or E-mail here
