Actually Hershey Stadium is used by High Schools for State Playoff Games, and some other games where a hugh crowd is anticipated and where area high school local fields are unable to accomodate anticipated crowds.
The field shown in the photo use to be the Home Field for the M. S. Hershey High School Football Team. M. S. Hershey High School now plays at a new facility on the southside of Hershey while Hershey High School still does, I believe, play in the stadium shown in the photo.

My boys were there they said it was a big rowdy crowd!I'm delighted to hear the crowd was rowdy. When I've had the chance to catch one of these rallies on C-SPAN, the crowds always roar, cheer, shout encouragement to GWB, boo Kerry, and otherwise have a riproaring good time.

MOST of the time they never show the crowd....because there isn't one for Kerry!!!!

This is like a rock concert! It's interesting that the tv never shows the crowd size that Kerry is addressing, nor does he ever seem to have any local politicians, senate candidates, etc., rushing around him at the podium. Sure, Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, etc., hang around--but not locals. This is telling.

Great pics! Thanks for posting, this is very positive!
I've stood in the rain for 4 hours to see our president. Worth every second! I've seen him 3 times in the last several weeks, the last time in my hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio. Our hometown's population is about 23,000, and about 16,000 turned out for our president.

I watched an ABC morning news report on the Bush and Kerry. They started with Kerry first. The reporter was talking with excitement in his voice, lots of cheering crowd noise in the background.
The second reporter was talking in a slow depressing tone, the audience noise was muted and the reporter kept bringing up Kerry charges against Bush with every comment about what Bush was saying.
And, when he quoted Bush who said he would not take a flu vaccine, Bush apparantly said, "I am young and healthy, I don't need the flu shot." But the reporter said it this way. Bush said, "I am young" relatively speaking "and healthy. I don't need the flu shot."
Did anyone else see this? I understand it could have just been two different reporter styles but it was not Kerry that got the extra scrutiny, had the audience noise muted or was talking in a depressing drone.
