After Staging Photo-Op 'Hunt,' Kerry Refuses to Carry His Own Bird

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said he bagged a goose on his Poland, Ohio swing state hunting trip Thursday, but his real target was the voters who may harbor doubts about him.

Kerry returned after a two hour hunting trip wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a 12 gauge shotgun, but someone else carried the bird that he had shot.

'Im too lazy', Kerry joked. 'I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus.'

Although he claims to be an avid hunter, Kerry has never joined the 315 member Congressional Sportmans Caucus.

John Kerry, [however] has a 100 percent rating from the radical animal rights group like PETA and the Fund for Animals.

Funny, but I can't find another post that questions whether he actually killed the bird himself. We see him getting a hunting license, going hunting, and coming back with a bird carried by a lackey. That Kerry is a real stud, he gets a license and a gun, and 2 hours later he's already bagged a bird. TWO HOURS? It can't be that easy. I've heard of people going all day without bringing anything back. Note the fact that the people around him are also carrying shotguns.

Hmmmmmm.... 4 hunters, 3 geese. Yeah, sure, Kerry shot one of the geese.

He's the only one not wearing camouflage pants. I think his jacket is all buttoned up because underneath he has on a shirt and tie!

Can we get his complete itinerary for the day of the hunting outing?

Very simple -- Kerry is used to have servants or bellhops carry his things. In any case, he is not about to carry a dead bird -- it might ruin his manicure. And the smell!

Since no one has a pic of him shooting the bird, would speculate that someone else shot the bird too. BTW did he have a hunting permit? And, I thought live bird shooting was outlawed by the state throught lobbying by PETA (or is that just in some states?). I know several shooters that go to Mexico to participate in live bird shoots because they can't shoot live birds in the US.

I can't believe all the Secret Service people let that man behind Kerry aim his gun at Kerry's butt. I would have to get new hunting partners, this guy will get you killed.

Exactly what is Kerry going to do with these dead birds...clean and eat?.....hunters kill for food...he's killing animals for a photo-op.

If he did shoot it, he probably shot it on the ground.

Reporter:"Mr. Kerry, do you plan on eating that bird or having it mounted ?"

Kerry:"I want to go back to what the president said the other day. His policies are to reward the wealthiest one percent and by the way did I mention I have a plan! You can check it out at johnkerry.com. and while you are waiting for the page to load up you can contemplate how much I admire Dick Cheney's gay daughter for choosing to stay the way she was born."

What's a few dead geese? All these lefties feel there has to be sacrificial lambs to the cause of advancing their (PETA) agendas of taking our rights away.

Remember PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals AND if God didn`t want us to eat animals, he`d stop making them out of MEAT!

I'm sure he went goose hunting and may even have gotten a goose. That doesn't make him a goose hunter however. Reminds me of a picture of Clinton a few years ago coming out of the swamp in Arkansas with a duck to establish his bona fides as a hunter. You haven't seen Clinton in camo since then, and you will not see Kerry hunting if elected as President until the 2008 campaign gets under way.

French have a word for this: poseur. Kerry not only knows it, he lives it.
