As an active duty soldier, I am very dismayed by this utter political trick to politicise the war. This is sick. What is wrong with these people? And how could nearly half the country position themselves with this radical left turn the Dem party has taken?

I have a hard time in believing that even the Rats would stoop that low. However, if the calls are true, we need to look to find out who is responsible. Sad to say it could even be an overzealous Bush supporter whose objective is to have it blamed on the Democrats.

If I was a military wife, again, I'd never voter democrat ..ever ...ever ...ever... You don't have to be military to react like that. My husband is a life-long democrat and he said at dinner last night that he might have to consider changing parties. He was very upset--I had just told him about what Kerry said about our men dying in the Balkans in 1994 under a UN flag. Hubbie was very upset because he doesn't WANT to become a Republican, but he's beginning to hate what he sees the democrats are becoming. I'm sure there's others like him.

Weren't there some "prank" calls a few months ago where military families were getting a call that their family member had been killed?

"Well, at least Theresa never killed anybody." OMG! I would love to know who made that statement. These people are truly the spawn of Satan. How can they be so EVIL?!!!

Most of us believe in God. The religion of the left is politics. They are driven as much as are the Islamofascists.

Why should this surprise anyone?
The Lunatic Left of America hates our military and their families.
The foundation of the current Rat party is based on hatred of America and our military. This came about with their successes in turning our victory in Nam in to a political defeat in the 1960/70's. Kerry is their poster boy/hero in this hate America group.

One call from a female Kerry worker was asking me if I would support John Kerry and I replied I would not. She said you must like war.
Should have replied you must hate peace and freedom.

I haven't forgotten, Doug. But consider this:
What better way to damage The Right further, than to drop a rock in the pond and see how far the ripples go? Knowing this will get posted on FR (Mission Accomplished) and that FReepers will accept whatever Ingraham says as holy writ.
Then they point at us, and accuse us of further lies.
Good bit of disinformation, right out of the Manifesto.

He doesn't have to become Republican, he can be independant.
I have no party affiliation, and my husband is actually still registered Dem (but votes Republican).
