Even for the DemocRATS, this is a low blow. Just when you think they couldn't get lower in the gutter, they have broken through the pavement and burrowed down into the sewer.
A caller on Laura Ingraham's show just commented that she received a call that is being used to target military families. (Paraphrasing) -- We are sorry to inform you that your husband is dead...........this is the message you will receive if George Bush is re-elected.
Laura is hoping that someone will be able to get that recorded message so it can be exposed for all to see.
They are not all like this, of course, but we are dealing with a large number of the scum of the earth in the opposition party. They really are different from us. They are why we must win.
Yep. I think when Bush said he will change people one heart/mnd at a time, I was thinking of Democrats as much as the people in Iraq. At least, some of the Democrats. Some of them are hopeless, IMO.
Are you kidding??? I haven't heard about any of this. Thanks for the heads up... but wouldn't that make them more interested in debunking this story? Guess we'll know shortly.

Yes there have been reports of prank calls for a couple of years now.
Just you wait, I think they can get far lower than anyone can or would imagine.
This doesn't surprise me. My parents had their "My grandson is a U.S. Marine" bumper sticker scratched up in their driveway. Their Bush/Cheney signs have been stolen. Their neighbors are rabid Kerry supporters.
The Arkansas National Guard reported Tuesday that some families in Texarkana have received bogus phone calls about their loved ones. The callers told people that their family members had been killed in Iraq. The National Guard says those types of notification are always done in person by a uniformed service member. The National Guard said families who receive such false phone calls should report it to local law enforcement agencies. They should also report the calls to the State Family Program office at 501-212-4102.........

I heard this caller on Laura's show too. I remember this kind of thing (these kind of calls) coming up before, in the last election.
Is anyone listening to VP Cheney on Laura's show right now? I think he sounds strange. Sick or distracted? He usually sounds so concise and sharp. I'm finding it troubling.

The liberals are the greatest threat to American freedom. This will lead to a civil war. Dont for a minute doubt that the liberals will attack America, and then blame the right wing, in order to serve their interests.
The good thing is, now there is a heads up to the military families. Of these calls are going around there is a better chance to catch it on tape.
Think it all the way through:
Leftists call in to Laura's show, claiming bogus NOK Notifications with a Socialist message in them;
Laura's show goes nationwide with the story, it gets posted on FR and a few other places;
Snopes can then "debunk" the story, with the following title:
RUMOR: Soldiers' families are getting phony death calls from Democrats
FALSE.
Story: Laura Ingraham has announced on her radio show that soldiers' families are being told their family members are dead.
See how it can be spun? Laura is now part of the VRWC.
This is indeed the Democrats fondest wish -- large scale death to American servicemen.
Their biggest disappointment is the low casualty rate.

I thought I had thought it all the way through. My problem: I have to remember that I don't think the way these desperate liberals do. They accuse us of a VRWC yet the truth is there is a real VLWC and this could very well be a part of that. Thanks for the lesson, Sarge!
Again, I say that this is irrelevant; thanks to CBS (and now ABC), we have a new standard -- we can demand a response to a story regardless of how unfounded the allegations are. Why is Kerry refusing to answer these charges? He must have something to hide. The content of the charges are accurate, even if the evidence appears to be shaky... (etc.)
I can confirm this was as not being a rumor. Mike Rosen on KOA is currently doing a story on it. Apparently, a former intern of his did a story on it on KOAA (a TV station in Pueblo) on Wednesday. I'm trying to track down more on the story, but it is coming from multiple sources.
