I think they have done it before. I seem to remember a statement made by Zarqawi after a be-heading has a phrase from one of the DNC's talking points (quagmire, comes to mind) so we know they are paying attention to everything being said.
Frank Gaffney was on O'REilly tonight and when O'REilly was coming down on Bush for not knowing ahead of time how messy the war was gonna be, Gaffney came back at him and said that in his opinion, Kerry played a much bigger part in the messiness. He said that Kerry's constant complaining about the "wrong war, wrong time" and Bush not "winning the peace" etc., was aiding and abetting the terrorists. He said they feed off of the discord in our country over this war, and Kerry is the one fueling their attempts to sway our elections.
