Why is Gallup showing such a wide margin compared to other polls showing a dead-even race?

Why is Gallup showing such a wide margin compared to other polls showing a dead-even race?Because Gallup is a good pollster and the others are biased, poll on weekends, use bad methodology, etc., etc. ;)

Wisconsin would be hugh. Throw in Ohio and Kerry would be in series condition.

fantastic. This was the state I was most nervous about, after Ohio.

HUGE! HUGE! HUGE! It is all about the trend my friends. And PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND....
Bush has not been in Ohio in 17 days! and at worst he's a point down. Now simply imagine the effect of a presidential gubernator visit on the polls!
Things are looking way way way up!
Today.

Why is Gallup showing such a wide margin compared to other polls showing a dead-even race? Gallup uses a multi step process to filter out the 'real' voters - you need to pass several levels of questions to be a 'likely' voter ...
