"We believe President Bush should get the benefit of the doubt here," Kerry spokesman Mike McCurry said in a news release.
Now THAT is funny.

Interesting that the nitpicking nitwit media would believe Pat Robertson over Pres. Bush.

On the eve of the invasion, Bush made a nationally televised speech in which he said specifically there would be sacrafices made.

Robertson must be confusing Bush/Iraq with Clinton/Kosovo.

I hope this removes ANY DOUBT to anyone that Pat Robertson SAID these things....I give money to CBN but I wont anymore... I always tried to 'overlook' him because CBN does good work .....but to heck with them....he CLEARLY stood by his stupid remarks, made to CNN a LIB STRONGHOLD, less than 10 days before the election....he's cost his own glory seeking self a ton of supporters and to that I say GOOD!!....
I'll just give more of my money to St Judes...
he's an idiot and now I dont believe hes a real christian and I had doubts after his "GOD TOLD ME" statements anyways
I've never known a better christain or better man than Billy Graham, and he's never said such a stupid or glorifing thing....

Does Pat wear a hearing aid by chance. Probably just needs new batteries.

Does Pat have a video of this?

It doesn't make sense for any President to say they expect no casualties in a war.

Pat should produce a video or transcript, so we can see the context such a statement might have been made in.

It is also curious that G_d told Pat that Iraq would be a mess. Wonder if that was the same 900 foot Christ that Oral Roberts saw in the 80's?

The president told us in November 2001, long before this conversation with Robertson, that there would be casualties in the war on terror.

And, by the time Robertson had this conversation, there were ALREADY casualties in Iraq.

Robertson needs to have his head examined.

As with the O'Reilly scandal that was set up and contrived by the left (News Corp, etc.), Democrats are trying to pass the lie that Robertson is with us.

Neither of them are with us. Let Democrats continue their silly spree about their spiritualist, mysticist, romanticist entertainment personalities. They are trying to link their own pandering pussy footers to us.

Pat Robertson may well be a good, God-fearing Christian; but he is a total wacko.

..that he [Bush] did not expect casualties from the invasion of Iraq.

Than why did the Pentagon prepare for 10,000 casualties? Bush prepared himself for 3000, 5000 dead and 5000 wounded if the Iraqi's put up a fight with chemical or biological agents.

Bush knows that the casualties could have been much, much worse. So do we.

It's called being led by the flesh, not the spirit. That's how Pat Robertson could end up on CNN, a breeding ground of the enemy. Wanting the praise and spotlight of the natural world. Wanting to be a player in the election. Instead of on his knees, praying for President Bush.

Pat Robertson seems to be a reasonably decent guy, but he has a very large foot and he regularly puts it in his mouth.

Over the years he had been responsible for hundreds of gaffes like this. The liberal media can absolutely count on him to make Christians look stupid.

With this, saying that the United States had it coming in reguards to 911 and saying that Charles Taylor was a good Baptist, Robertson has proven he is not an ally of the administration.

Unlike the evangelists I do admire, Pat Robertson makes it all about him rather than all about Him.

I wonder if the LIEberals gave Robertson real silver or just 30 silver-colored discs.

I think he is getting close to falling under the "false prophets" category.

Kerry's campaign issued a statement Wednesday challenging Bush to say whether the "700 Club" founder and 1988 GOP presidential candidate was telling the truth.

It isn't the nature of the evidence but the seriousness of the charge. -Democrat way of thinking
