With the talk about voter fraud, the fact that Kerry will declare "an early victory," and the fact that Kerry will contest no matter if Bush wins, I am getting stressed out. Each poll is like a roller coaster. What are you guys doing when you need to take break from this madnesss?
I've probably gained 10 pounds. I am anxious all the time and the food seems to help temporarily.
I'm trying to take the approach that Pres. Bush takes and that my husband takes...BELIEVE that God will make it all OK, one way or another.
I used to be like you, Inferno. Lived this stuff 24/7. Then I figured out that I stayed upset/angry/depressed/frustrated a great deal of the time. I backed way off.
I still keep up with what's going on, I of course vote, I pray, and I try to influence my small circle, but I don't let it eat me up anymore. Despite the way it looks, God IS indeed in control.

I started listening to Rush again, for the first time in several years. He is unfailingly optimistic, which is very calming.
I am also drinking many pots of tea, and trying to avoid TV news.
Load shotgun shells. #00 buckshot in a 3" magnum load.
Praying and wishing I had the Valium concession of FR.
Yeah it is a real job and one I wouldn't trade for anything -Best job in the world.

I turned off the MSM.
Reading light novels.
Listening to music.
Preparing to kick Liberal Commie butt if they try to seize control of this nation fraudulently. LOL That thought actually cheers me up.
"I pay no attention to polls and I certainly am not worried about The Traitor amassing an army of lawyers to contest the a$$ kicking he will receive on Nov 2nd courtesy of Dubya's boot".
Agreed. And don't forget, OUR lawyers are more competent than THEIR lawyers! We proved that in 2000.
I'm not nervous, I'm confident.
I realized long ago that the self-inflcition of my own suffering cannot change what might or might not happen.
Pray for Kerry, he needs it.
your rifle or your gun?
Yes, yes , yes what you said. Of course, I would be doing that without an election. I have to say I was becoming a real beeeeatch until I found this site. I find people just as afraid, angry, determined and funny. I take a lot of solilce in ya'lls company. Plus, I can yell through my fingers instead of my mouth to my loved ones.
I make parodies. I play my favorite CDs and MP3s. I snuggle my furbabies. I enjoy a cup of good coffee.
...AND I FREEP LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW, BAY-BEE!!
I agree re: God being in control.
For some reason (HA!) I have a sense of peace about this election.
I've never been a drinker, but 2 ounces of Bacardi gold once daily. I'd rather twice, but don't want to start something. 2 a day are heatly, 3, not.
Those things make you less nervous? I can't even eat until all four of my rugrats are in bed. LOL
Go to the 1000 yard line at the rifle range with a .300 win mag and bust some caps.
I'm comforted that it is entirely possible that the defeated Democrat will be sent to prison for various election fraud attempts.
Okay, it won't happen. But comfort is comfort.

Target practice. I gave up smoking crack and mainlining heroin for Ramadan.
