Am I correct in thinking that newly registered voters have to bring in ID to the polls in Ohio?

The little crackheads scammed the Democrats? Oh No! Say they did not hire crooks and criminals to register voters.
They took the money and screwed the Democrats. It could not happen to nicer people..........I hope they sent these expensive mailers to all of them and the mail is wandering around in the undeliverable bags ..........ha ha ha.
I never thought I would appreciate a scam on anyone. I know the mailers they have been sending to everyone, even GOPers are expensive. They cost of fortune. The thoughts of them sitting in bags somewhere tickles me no end......

It looks like Democrats may be relying on no-show voters.

Oh, they'll show!

The solution to voter fraud is simple:

1) Voters must show a picture ID prior to voting. Failure to do so will result in the person being escorted from the polling place.

2) Voters may only vote at their local precincts - if they are unable to do so, then they should get an absentee ballot.

3) ALL voters shall be stricken from the roles of registered voters if they haven't voted in the last 5 years - NO exceptions. This will force people to re-register, and cut down on the number of zombie voters.

4) Examples MUST be made in every county in the country of those committing vote fraud. I don't know what the minimum federal sentence is, but I think that it should be at least 5 years in prison with NO possibility of parole. After that, the individual in question should forever lose their ability to vote.

5) Upon the conviction of an individual for the commission of a felony, their name and SSN should be forwarded to a central registry of convicted felons. All states and localities which print ballots that contain a spot for any federal candidate should be required to verify that each and every applicant does not appear on that list.

Of course, the Dems will oppose each and every one of these proposals (and already have, in some cases). Which is great fodder for a nationwide advertising campaign by the GOP.

State GOP records, confirmed by Williams, show that through Oct. 4, Hamilton County mailed 63,403 cards to new registrants, and 4,152 were returned - a rate of 6.6 percent.

Makes me wonder how, in a presumally even-handed article, such a gross misrepresentation can appear.

That means that the really significant figure is:

93.4% FRAUDULENT

Signing someone up is one thing.., them going to the polls is something totally different. It still takes an iota of effort to vote, and to many, an iota of effort is asking too much. Thankfully, most are Dems getting a check in the mail each month from the Gov't. Naturally, the rest are either dead or fictitious.

Are they not appealing that latest decision? plus all these phantom voters now have to sign an affidavit swearing that that is their one and only vote by rule of Blackwell...which made the dems really mad. But it was my immpression that they are trying to knock down what that judge wrought about the any precinct voting thing. Something about a decision due today. I hope I didn't hallucinate this. If anybody knows....

blackdog is right.

The problem in Ohio, now that some court has OK'd provisional voting, is that the people who are prepared to vote fraudulently, no long have to show up at the precinct at which the poll workers would have the registration on record.

The people prepared to vote fraudulently, may enter ANY precinct and vote.

A worsening problem will turn out, that many REPUBLICANS will find that they voted twice, once where they reside and once where the fraudulent voter voted provisionally for them. No problem, you say, well, tell it to the judge; as each signature, yours and your fraudulent effort ... each REPUBLICAN shall have to prove that they did NOT place the fraudulent vote in the remote precinct, nor did they make *THAT* signature at the remote precinct.

A daunting task for the boards of elections.

Yet, back to the matter of the DEMOCRAT voting twice ...

The daunting task will be for the boards of election to reject the fraudulent votes, and for each, face the publicly posed ire of the "disenfranchised" (Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton chorus sings here) and the "intimidated" (Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton chorus sings here again).

For every duplicate, triplicate, quadrupliate, quintuplicate, etc. vote placed fraudulently by the DEMOCRATS, the board of election will have that many tasks to prove that the votes are frauds.

It is not "yawn" like the old days of a few hundred here and there.

The problem is with tens of thousands of votes.

At the board of elections, every single provisional ballot will have to be confirmed by due process, which will take more than a month, which means that the Secretary of State will not be able to make certification of the vote results.

Ironically, I've never ever met a single person who was afraid to vote on anything in the United States, except for members of the affilations of the A.F.L.-C.I.O. who are very afraid of losing their health and livelihood if they do not please the A.F.L.-C.I.O. hierarchy.

I'm not positive, but I think they meant that 6.6 percent of the cards were returned to the sender by the post office because of phony addresses.

Wait until heated democrat primaries. The loser will start telling the public exactly what's going on. That's the problem with what democrats do. It may work short term for short term strategies, but in the long run, you are just shooting yourself in the foot. Their ends justifies the means games will come back to haunt them.

The GOP had better get ahold of every single voter registration list in America and double check them against whatever REAL PERSON list available.

On election day, the GOP must also have at least one trusted poll official standing over the shoulder of the person who checks off the list when each person votes.

I am fully persuaded that, especially in urban areas, this is where much of the fraud takes place -- when unscrupulious partisans look the other way when a phony voter steps up to the voting booth.

And the GOP had better not give in and allow these provisional ballots to be counted. If we start to allow shenanigans like we saw in Florida 2000, we will never have a normal election in the USA again.
