TERESA: TEACHING ISN'T A 'REAL JOB' [10/20 12:19 PM]
From USA Today interview with Teresa Heinz Kerry:
Q: You'd be different from Laura Bush? A: Well, you know, I don't know Laura Bush. But she seems to be calm, and she has a sparkle in her eye, which is good. But I don't know that she's ever had a real job I mean, since she's been grown up.
What arrogance. Stunning, unmitigated arrogance!
From the White House:
Inspired by her second grade teacher, she earned a bachelor of science degree in education from Southern Methodist University in 1968. She then taught in public schools in Dallas and Houston. In 1973 she earned a master of library science degree from the University of Texas at Austin and worked as a public school librarian in Austin [until 1977].
Hey, teachers, librarians: Teresa Heinz Kerry says your work isn't a "real job"!
We can't all be ketchup heiresses, you know.
What's the deal about the raisins and gin? I must have mssed something.
terry kerry is such a lush!
And Stay at home moms have been offended. Taking care of your children is not a real job, in Mama T's drugged out thinking.
i object! there is nothing "dainty" about that woman.
This from a Woman that lives on interest and dividends from her DEAD husband!!!!!!!!! And then spends her sons inheritance on her boy toy. Please tell me this election will be over soon. I can't take much more.
It's her arthritis remedy. I think she takes a few nips in between the raisins!
Teresa has a real job, on her back.
Oh! No! Perish the thought, please.
I'm just not up to 24/7 Ketchup Queen.
She told a rally she was at recently that a cure for arthritic pain is to soak white raisins in gin...for 9 days...and then eat 9 of them each day...putting new raisins in the gin each day...
That was a remark about their health care plan--preventative and natural remedies we could use to be healthier!
Dear marty60,
Hey, marty, I think I resemble that remark!!
That boy-toy may turn out to be President of the United States of America in a few short days.
Okay, now I need a shower.

When Tereyza grows up maybe she'll get a job. Up to this point in her 66 years, she has survived off the fruits of others' labor
Dr Nutcase's "arthritis treatment" in view of the horrible health care crisis.
She said to take 9 white raisins, and they must be white, and soak them in gin for 2 weeks and eat the raisins to "treat" arthritis.
Next treatment - buffalo dung poultices (as predicted by PJ O'Rourke)
Yeah, she does look like a guy in drag.
actually she was a wealthy wife to a US Senator before Kerry too.
There are all sorts of clashing opinions about everything on this most excellent board. (BBQ threads often turn into open warfare.)
My sister and my mama were p s teachers as well as several aunts and cousins. Do I support them? Yes. Do we emulate them?
Nope. We homeschool.
Now if my sister could have taught my boys, I would have them in her school; because she had the guts to read the Scriptures and pray with her kids every day. Course it was a small school out in the boonies. But, you ought to see the scrapbook her last class made for her.
Such opportunities are few and far between.
and mind you, this is while she is ON GUARD because she's out campaigning. Can you IMAGINE what she'd say after a Kerry (ugh, please no!!!) victory, and she's the First Lady for real (rather than in her twisted mind.)
LOL! No one is! That's the beauty of it. Who could vote for Liveshot if we had to see her all the time??
[I think it's a cunning plan....:)]
