I wanted to know what all of you thought about early voting in Florida. Do you think it is a good idea? I didn't like the electronic voting though so I used a paper ballot. At least, I know my vote will count now. Even though I supported Bush in the last election, I voted for Michael Peroutka of the Constitution Party, who is a real conservative.

The Constitution Party has a lot of support here in NW Florida. I have seen hundreds of their signs and their supporters have been going door to door here in our neighborhood. They seem to be associated with some of our local churches. It's some of the same people who organized Judge Roy Moore's speaking tour in our area.

I'd like to talk with them about their decision. A vote for this party is simply a vote against Bush. Surely they can see that. I haven't noticed them in Pensacola or Milton, but I hope they knock on my door.

You don't "win" a damn thing by choosing between two Big Stupid Government politicians if your goal is to limit Big Stupid Government. Sorry, but the time to vote your conscience is in the primaries, not the general election. Your duty as a voter is to make sure that the greater of 2 evils is kept out of power.
President Kerry will cede our foreign policy sovereignty to the UN, will raise taxes, increase regulations, try to ban guns, etc., etc. Bush has told the UN and the rest of the world to shove it on several occasions. He surely isn't perfect - there are a number of different issues on which he is clearly NOT conservative, but at least he won't destroy our sovereignty. You are foolish, IMHO, if you don't vote against Kerry in the most effective way, i.e. by voting for Bush. NO ONE pays the least bit of attention to the 3rd party votes.

I bet everyone who cast a protest vote for Ross Perot in 92 sure could have done without Clinton for 8 years
Guilty as charged, but on the bright side we got the 94 revolution.

Even though I supported Bush in the last election, I voted for ______________ Indeed! I'm sure all those who have found Bush to not be as conservative as they had expected are just rushing to go vote for the much more conservative F'n Kerry. LOL
