The reason the MSM isn't running with this is because of how the memos were 'discovered'. A republican staffer who had access to the Senate computer records system found that the Dems left their documents unprotected by password. He qucikly downloaded a lot of these Dem documents which showed the Dems on the Judiciary committee were colluding with their special interest base. When the Dems discovered their Documents were 'stolen' they had the guy investigated and threatened legal action against him. The republicans won't run with this because they know the Dems will claim 'dirty tricks', the media won't run with it because Iam not sure they have copies of documents. This is an old story which would be awesome if people cared about who gets appointed as judges. Unfortunately, our electorate fails to give the judiciary appointment potential of presidents the importance it deserves. Sad but true....

Key Dems in Congress caught with their pants down?
There is no doubt that these memos contain some info that is daming for the dems. But, it also taints a couple of Republicans, probably Sphincter and a couple of other of our lefties.
Can't you imagine Schumer, Leahy or Harkin leaving a slime trail while sidlleing up to Frist first, to demand the memos back (like they'd give them back if they found the good guys' documents) and then to threaten to release the dirt on the good guys and then threaten all the usual dem crap and negativity (as though the crapweasels know anything else) if they are released.
Frist is a coward. He is yellow and simply can't play hard ball. Frist should know that if he harbors any interest in gigher office for himself, some of us will remember his prissy handling of these documents!

I don't really think party loyalists banning together to block nominees is a "scandal." We'd do it too against liberal judges.
It's just a sign of the political times, where the voters and the government are equally divided.
This does not a rosy picture paint!!
