OK, here's my fear: I am up late on election night, and state after state that was considered a swing state falls for Kerry. After much attention to this race we all know that the fix was in, and that Kerry has stolen the election. What do we do? Does anyone else think Kerry has the fix lined up? Am I paranoid? Should I fear the fix?
Suggest you volunteer to work at Bush/Cheney
in your locale. Doing SOMETHING beats the heck
out of hand wringing.
We are ALL worried and concerned.
You are not alone. It is a deep concern and I have no idea what we can do except for volunteer to work at the voting locations or become watchers.
I was wondering, does FR do anything special on election night? Any special threads, or do we all just sit around watching the returns, fretting, and randomly posting here?
I feel a little helpless here in Idaho in that I know Idaho is in the bag for Bush.
If the kerry camp had the fix than they would not still be trying to hire massive amount of lawyers who today on fox said that regardless they have been instructed to take the matters to court(this is of course the truth minus their spin). We alsow wouldn't have learned about the troll playbook to cry about abuse/not being able to vote. Kerry's attacks are way to personal and in the gutter for him to have a fix. In the end the supreme court may have to step in agian but we know how they will go.
Democrats are scared sh**less to see it and hear it all you have to do is listen closely to their actions and deduce as to why they have taken those measures.
Oh we have "LIVE" threads --- one main one,
but I think we ought to have a thread for
each state!
Ditto. To quote Huge Hewitt, if it isn't close, they can't cheat. (Make that "Hugh")
Yes indeed.
Hugh is right.
Like you, I want a "bloodbath."
Nothing even CLOSE!
First, contact your local Rep party.
They are always looking for people to help with GOTV efforts and poll watching. Even in states that aren't in play, your watchful eye could help a conservative get elected, or help Bush win the popular vote.
Second, mention your worry to your friends and family who don't follow politics that closely. Don't get into specifics or indepth unless they want to talk to you about it though. If it does come to something like this, your mentioning it to them ahead of time will help counteract the likely MSM spin.
Since the Clintons, the Democrats have proven to be nothing but a criminal enterprise. With this election cycle, they've branched out to become brownshirted goons. I say pound them into dust, and sweep them onto the ash heap of history.
MVF is my bigges fear of the election. But I've recently started to think it may not be as bad as we are fearing come election day. Why?
Thinking of all the stories of people paid to register new voters. The guy paid with crack in ohio. The other guy out wset registering 25 or 30 names for $2 each. Now compare that with all the other stories of massive new registrations in swing states.
Simply put, I think these soros funded groups got screwed big time by a bunch of loafers who made up names and voters to make a quick buck. There will be hope of new voters on the dem side, but few actual real voters going to the polls under these names.
The other problem is abesntee ballots. Depending on the states, these can be a big instrument of vote fraud. But the stories are so widespread that these are going to be scrutinized more. And people may be getting jittery about actually trying to commit fraud if they think someone is onto them.
All that's really necessary is an announcement from all local federal prosecutors that all allegations of voter fraud in a federal election will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The idiots may call this intimidation. And they'd be right- it's intimidating the cheaters.
Now we get to the last part of the equation: Perception. If the polls continue to pull away towards GWB (and I think they will - big time) then these same people may think it's not worth the risk to expose themselves in a losing effort. Also, word may come from above to hold back this time, because the people at the top actually want hillary in 2008 more than they want kerry in 2004.
The direction of the polls have me optimistic once again and I'm back to seeing a 55 toi 57% bush win, pre vote fraud.
I bet, I was up until 5am and then fretted for the 42 or so days it took to get resolved.
I am very afraid and posted this;
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1238534/posts
a couple of weeks ago. It is about why the Democrats do not care about the polls or debates. They have been working on this election for 4 years.
Then a few days ago Drudge posted parts of the DNC campaign manual on his site.
This will be one messy election.
Here's a thought on this ...
If there was an upsurge in Demo operators planning to
multiple-vote, some of them would squeal (or actually
be GOP or law-enforcement plants). We're not hearing
anything.
Would we hear? Yes. We are hearing about the registration
scams. Are they troubling? Yes, but. They seem to be
mostly workers scamming the sponsor for per-reg payments.
Yes, some GOP regs have been trashed, but the numbers
may be small.
Nonetheless, you can do things.
Start by protecting your own vote. Vote early, and
in person.
If you live in a swing state, volunteer.
