My cousin Larry, a Vietnam era veteran (US Army, MOS 52D20, active duty March '66 - March '68), just called me a while ago to report on an event his local radio station hosted for their listeners.
To go back a bit... Last week the AM-920 "Morning Blend" co-hosts Mark Vance and Andrea Shea-King obtained a DVD copy of "Stolen Honor" and announced on the air that they were going to find a place to show the documentary for their listeners and friends. As of Friday last week they had not located a place to air the documentary; the Melbourne Community Library would not return their calls.
As Larry recollects, they announced on Monday's show that they had secured a conference room at the Imperial's Hotel and Conference Center in Melbourne, FL for Tuesday evening, October 19th.
They announced that they would likely have two showings, three if need be, but would not turn anyone away.
The first showing was to be at 6PM tonight. Larry reports that he arrived at 6 o'clock and the room was already filled beyond capacity (150 seating). People were standing in the aisles, sitting on the floor and extending out into the hallway; with younger people giving up their seats to the more senior adults in the room. Andrea and Mark remarked that the crowd was much larger than they had expected. Andrea joked that she didn't realize that they had so many listeners.
My cousin waited to get a seat for the 7PM showing, and chatted with the many folks waiting in an informal line. Larry was able to get into the 7PM showing, and he chose to sit on the floor when he gave his seat to an "older fellow." As people found their seats, Swift Boat Cdr. Thomas W. Wright, USN, Ret. PCF-44, spoke a few words. He said that John Kerry had served under him, that John Kerry had a discipline problem, he wasn't where he was supposed to be at specific times, would not answer his radio when he was called, put other people at risk, and would not function as a team player on patrols - when life depends on a team cooperating; and he elaborated further. After Cdr. Wright's five or so minute introduction, a former POW, McMahon (sp?) told a little about his five years and seven months in captivity; and after that the documentary aired.
After the 7PM show let out, more folks had been lining up for the third showing of "Stolen Honor." Larry reports that the room filled up fully yet again. It was announced that the documentary would be shown at least one more time tonight if there were people who wanted to see it. My cousin and others went outside and chatted further, with Cdr. Wright graciously autographing Larry's copy of "Unfit for Command."
Good to see after reading the theatre that cancelled its showing due to threats.
Excellent... thanks for the news! :) :) :)
Great news. I'm hoping everyone gets a chance to see it. Did he tell you what he thought of the film?
Do you know if there were only Bush supporters there or were there dems there too?
College Republicans need to be showing this at campuses across the country.
Good. I hope more people get interested in seeing the whole thing after the Sinclair broadcast.
Very cool. I like WMEL especially during hurricanes when there is no electric and all other stations are off the air.
Let your cousin Larry know the President is going to be in town on Saturday.

Great report. Brevard is Bush country, and I'd love to see record turnout for the President in two weeks. He'll be in town on Saturday at Space Coast Stadium.
Tickets, which are free, are available at three sites around the county:
Brevard Republican headquarters, 2525 Aurora Road, Melbourne. 254-0073.
Bush-Cheney Central Brevard headquarters, 1325 N. Atlantic Ave. (Holiday Center), Cocoa Beach. 799-8116.
Bush-Cheney North Brevard headquarters, 355 Indian River Ave., Titusville. 264-8260.
"and I knew that the MSM wouldn't tell it."
We don't need the Old Media like ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC and NBC!
They won't even ask Kerry about his discharge that had to be upgraded to honorable by the peanut farmer.
They won't even ask why he won't sign Form 180
Old Media is on Kerry's side, plain and simple.
Long Live Free Republic!
Good for the "Morning Blend" crew! What I like about this story is that nobody from the Kerry camp got to interupt the message of the film with their worn out old "talking points". Kerry had 35 years to give his version of the story and all the Vets and POWs heard was silence. sKerry can remain silent.
I also bought FahrenHYPE 9/11 on DVD yesterday and I have had requests to see "the other side of the story'.
Thanks for this heartening report. Anyone who sees "Stolen Honor" could not possibly vote for Kerry. I would expect them to become activists against this traitor. I ordered the video and will show it to my friends and relatives when it comes.

Thanks SO MUCH!!!!
"I thought that the movie was very touching. The anguish that the POWs felt... that their time was extended because of Kerry's actions."
"There was footage of the "peace movement," Jane Fonda."
"Was there Republicans there? Were there Democrats there? I don't know. That wasn't the issue. The issue was that John Kerry is unfit for command."
"I want people to see this documentary. I think that they should do what they can to get it shown in high schools, libraries, colleges, churches, community centers - wherever friends gather."
"We owe that to our vets."
Most excellent!
To whom it may concern:
I tried to buy some of your stock on Fidelity last night and tonight. I use on line trading with them and when I logged on they listed your price at 9000/ share of stock.
When I called my broker and got him on the line he said it was some kind of Arabic number mistake.... i guess so ... if any one wants to buy the stock it will show up as 9000 per share ....
