SAN DIEGO - A Border Patrol agent opened fire on a van on Monday night, triggering a police chase that wound up on the campus of a local high school.
El Cajon police said that Border Patrol agents tried to stop a van in the 900 block of Spinel Avenue, which is near Grossmont High School.
After a confrontation with the occupants, a Border Patrol agent shot into the van, hitting one passenger, according to El Cajon police.
The van's driver allegedly took off, crashing into a building on the Grossmont campus.
A helicoptor from the San Diego sherrif's department and police dogs were then enlisted in the effort to locate the suspects.
All of the suspects were arrested by Border Patrol agents, according to the police, who also said that the suspect who was shot was being treated at a local hospital.
Well...there they go again...
Can you imagine how many people would avoid our border if we deported all illegals to Iraq?

How can this article be true when the anti-Bush crowd tells us that we have open borders? If we had open borders why would we have Border Patrol Agents and why would they be chasing and shooting people?

The incident began with Border Patrol agents stopping a van at a gas station on Spinel and Mollison avenues, El Cajon police said. During a confrontation with someone in the van, one or more agents reportedly fired two shots. The van then took off, with agents and El Cajon police in pursuit. They asked for help from a sheriff's helicopter about 9:25 p.m.
The chase ended when the van driver crashed into a building at Grossmont High School. Several people were taken into custody, police said. Officers surrounded the school and searched the grounds for an hour before concluding that no one had eluded them.

Not that Kerry would be any better because he wouldn't be. So it's 2008 where maybe conservatives can find a law and order candidate to put a stop to the mess that the open border fanatics are forcing onto us.

'Open borders' is used by people in a relative sense, Mr. La Raza. The greater number of illegal alien lawbreakers that can sneak over our borders undetected, the more 'open' the borders appear to be to many people. 'Open borders' doesn't mean that nobody is guarding our borders.
